Review: Excellent Phone! - This is my third Ulefone over many years of phone abuse. This 27T Pro Plus is definitely my favorite so far. The FLIR camera is improved over my previous two phones and the added night vision is a nice addition. All of the typical features and menus I've become accustomed to are improved. I am extremely hard on phones, to the point I can remember breaking at least two on the very first day I owned them. But Ulefone has proven to be far tougher. I actually have not broken my last Ulefone and it's battery life is still impressive after many years of rigorous use. This 27T has a slightly larger battery capacity that did not increase the overall size of the phone and I'm sure it will perform as well as my previous Ulefones. I definitely recommend this phone. I would even be tempted to purchase another as back up, but based on my experience with Ulefone phones so far, I won't need another for a quite a while
Review: Ulefone repeat customer - This device is an upgrade from a Ulefone 18T, which I ran for nearly three years. This is day three, and from the box, the easiest setup I've done with a new device. Clean, simple, quick. The instruction booklet pretty much showed the location of the SIM and micro SD tray, and little else. That's all you need. Power the phone up, follow the prompts, and you're ready to change the settings to your preferences. Ulefone has made serious improvements in my opinion. This phone has a refinement well beyond price point. Android is fast and efficient. Three days and I'm just now at 50% on the battery. The cameras work well. The 18T had an amazing macro, which this one lacks. However, I've the microscope for that, and in it's place you have night vision. The IR can illuminate across a large room. So it's effective. The FLIR seems improved both from a physical and software perspective--quicker. Another improvement is the button on the side of the phone does not protrude as it did on the 18T, so you do not press it at inopportune moments. One other comment, and it regards the manufacturer. My 18T took a tumble down a stairwell at work from the 5th floor. It still worked, the only damage seemingly the headphone jack. I was mistaken. About three weeks out from that fall, the phone died in a spectacular fashion. I thought it a good idea to share with Ulefone events leading up to the event, and the event itself. They're in the business of rugged phones, and I felt they needed to know the nature of the failure for future improvements. I'd been completely satisfied with the device, and felt it was no failure caused by a manufacturing defect, more a testimony of what the device went through in its time with me. I put it through its paces, and it did above and beyond. Ulefone support immediately responded, and was very interested and concerned of my well-being and exactly how the phone died. They even wanted to know what position it was sitting in. They were thorough. That's the attitude that a customer likes to see and experience. A company that communicates with its customers, and has an interest in improving their products. I'll update this much as I did my review with the 18T, after a couple of months.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Premium features, but somewhat average quality
*by C***R on June 22, 2026*

I've had the Ulefone Armor 27T Pro Plus 5G phone for 45 days now. I liked the FLIR and Night Vision features, and the "medium" weight of this rugged phone, but had never had a Ulefone product before. I'll start with the physical characteristics. I would call this a medium-sized rugged phone. It's definitely not tiny, and also not huge like the jumbo units with camp lights and over 20,000mAh. This phone has 10,600mAh and weighs 450g. For comparison, my wife's Pixel 7a in an overstuffed bi-fold wallet was 400g total. The Armor 34+ Pro is 825 grams, which is closing in on 2 lbs(!). The phone actually came with one tempered glass protection screen, but also has a plastic protector you will need to remove first to install the glass protector. My screen had one stuck pixel. Ulefone was quick to remedy the issue, and is quite pleasant to deal with. The fingerprint sensor is on the power button. It generally works well, but can be a little finicky, as can the screen, which is very touch sensitive. I think this is made worse by all the AI tools Android has now, as I get the Circle area to search prompt far too often. The camera login works well, although it can be a little slow in bright lighting. The USB-C connector and a 3.5mm audio connector (yay!) are under protected covers. I've used several connected chargers, all with good rates. The 33W charger will definitely get over 30 watts and keeps it's cool. The 50W wireless charger only hits 30W max with the Armor 27. This is probably a good time to mention you should definitely check compatibility with the Ulefone options. The E01 is no go, it flickers large blocks of the screen and is unusable (the 27 is not listed with the E01). The E02 has a bit of small flickers across the image, but is definitely usable. I would skip the Protective Case, unless you need a belt clip. It doesn't offer much in the way of additional protection and is quite bulky, especially the large release tab at the top. Battery life has been very good, but the cellular reception is not as good as other modern phones. I wonder if the rugged case is costing some reception coverage? This could be an issue in rural areas (it is for me). The flashlight is weak while the speaker is nicely loud. You can't really use the speaker while on the wireless cradle though, it's completely blocked. I should mention here that the cradle has a small fan that will always be on when the phone is in the cradle, but luckily it is surprisingly quiet (under 45dB) for a small fan (tiny fans are usually silly loud). I use the phone in harsh environments; mechanical work, paint work, carpentry, agriculture, etc. The build quality feels rugged. It is NOT solvent resistant though, and matte surface on the back will come right off with even weak solvents. The normal camera takes clear pictures. Be sure to use tap-focus on closer objects though, and be patient for the beep. Otherwise you'll get lots of blur on closer subjects. The 50MP camera can be selected as an option on the camera, which is nice to avoid taking HUGE photos when you just need good ones. Night vision is also an option directly in the camera option bar. I hate that android puts the Google Lens button nearly on top of the shutter button. I end up using the side button to avoid pressing it. That's not a Ulefone issue, it's another Android AI annoyance. Flir (MyFlir) creates some handy images. It could use some documentation. I know that in this AGILE development world that documentation should be unnecessary, but it's just not the case with all the features that MyFlir Pro has. Registration of the thermal overlay could definitely be easier to get to. I still like the auto high/low point finders of my dedicated handheld thermal camera, which also has a much higher upper heat range. Overall, the phone meets most of my work & personal needs. Reception could definitely be better, the stuck pixel was a bummer, and I wish the back material was solvent resistant. Flir could use a bit more range, since you can't even get a good measurement on exhaust components, but I'll forgive it for the lovely VividIR enhancement mode. MediaTek's DuraSpeed app is abysmal, and will cause more issues than it fixes. Scroll to it in settings and either disable it, or deselect most of your daily apps. I'm going to roundup to 4 stars here, due to Ulefone support being so eager to help. That went a long way for sure.
