The Retinol body lotion is enriched with 800,000 I.U.’s of Vitamin A (Retinol).

**Q: Is this Cruelty-Free?**
A: Hi,
All of our products are cruelty free.

**Q: Does this body lotion have the same feeling on your skin as the hand cream?**
A: The product feels fine on me. I have not had the pleasure of using their handcream.

**Q: What % phenoxyethanol does the product contain? It's a bit concerning how high on the ingredients list it is**
A: It doesn’t state the specific percentage, but it is widely accepted that less than 1% is the magical number for safety in its use in any application.  

The FDA states it is safe for use in cosmetics and for indirect consumption.  

The Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR)/International Institute of Toxicology has determined it is safe in dermal applications.   The CIR has set the at 1% or less, even though testing shows dermal use to be quite safe at high percentages.  

The European Commission on Food and Health Safety also deems it safe at uses of 1% and so does does Japan. 

So all of this said, my guess is that it is at 1% or less, especially considering it is pretty much right next to “fragrance” in the ingredients list. If it is higher than 1%, then they have a very limited market reach.  

And it’s used is as a preservative, so your lotions don’t grow mold or a bacterial colony that you’ll be slathering all over your body.  And this particular one has been shown to be safer than parabens, which have been shown to disrupt hormones.   

So, it’s safe overall, safer than the alternative preservative used, and is probably at 1% or less concentration anyhow, so as to make it sellable in more than one regional market.

I’ve been using this for about 5 years. It has a very nice light not real perfumey scent. It’s a great all over lotion and worth the price. It helps with crepey skin and you can use on your face too.. a staple for me.

After viewing a comparison between Skincare Cosmetics Retinol Anti-aging Body Lotion and Paula's Choice Skin Smoothing Retinol Body Treatment (UTube "Hotandflashy") I decided to try both. The first to arrive was Skincare Costmetics and I honesty saw a difference within a couple of days. It is creamy and absorbs quickly. It has a faint scent which dissipates once you apply it. I really like the Skincare Cosmetics Retinol lotion. It was inexpensive and made a difference.

Great body lotion! Dries smooth, no icky heavy residue or feel. My legs were especially dry and you could see some scars from playing sports. However, much to my surprise this lotion seems to actually have made my legs not only moisturized but also lessened appearance of scars or scratches. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the scent is pretty strong. It's kind of a strong perfume smell. I wish there was an unscented version.
