MJX Hyper GO 14303 1/14 Citroen C3 Fast Rally RC Cars for Adults | RC Drift, Gyro, 4X4, RTR, Remote Control, 2 batteries

Like the title says, MJX has come out with yet another drifter at pretty much an unbeatable price. Seriously I’ve looked for other options in this price range and there just isn’t any, if you’re looking for a brushless RC car to drift. Especially something with a gyro like this has. If you’re not into drifting then you’ll enjoy how fast it is on the rubber tires. It’s a seriously fast RC car, especially if you use an optional 3s battery. It’ll do 40mph easily on 3s. Another plus about this model is that it already comes with the hardened drivetrain gears so running it on 3s is no issue. One thing that isn’t mentioned enough is the amazing body shell this thing has. There’s a serious amount of detail on the body. And the provided sticker pack is fun to apply. It’s got lights too, and believe it or not it even has reverse lights. The body is really better than you should expect at this price point. Overall, highly recommended. It does exactly what it says it does, and it does it well. Not to mention it comes with 2 batteries and lots of spares. I’m honestly glad that MJX has filled a niche that no one else seems to, which is an inexpensive option for a QUALITY rc car.

I bought the car for my 14 year old boy and we both love it. I is very fast and drives extremely well. It comes with 3 sets of times that all provide a different experience. I’m thinking out getting one for me. Very solid car.

This brushless RC car (MJX 14303) is super fast. Having owned other Hyper Go RC vehicles in the past, really appreciate the build quality, interchangable batteries and other spare parts. The headlights and taillights are fully functional, with turn signals, reverse and brake lights, etc. The Gyro steering really improves stability and control on those real fast straightaways and around big turns. The car comes with an extra battery, two sets of extra tires (including a hard smooth plastic set for drifting), and various other spare parts. A major bonus is that they now have a second plastic shield under the body to help keep road debris away from the electronics and moving parts. Thats a nice inclusion for this model. They retained the 70% / 100% speed setting on the remote, which is great when less experienced drivers are operating the car, and there is a cool button on the remote to turn on 4-way flashers. Note, the photos are before fully kitting it out with the included sticker livery. I kind of like the look, might run it around the track for a bit before deciding on a style. This vehicle is most suited for asphalt or other smooth surfaces, it has relatively low clearance and really sticks to the pavement. Off to fully charge the batteries and go do some RACING at the local track!

Absolutely the best 1/14 scale 3S capable rc you can buy!!! All I did was adjust the toe and it absolutely rips straight as an arrow with plenty of power on the included (2!!!) 2S batteries. Extra rally block tires AND drift wheels too! I threw away the included transmitter and used my dumbo and it works fantastic. Now I can adjust the steering dual rate and control the power output. Plugged the lights into channel 4 and now no more turn signals!!!! This thing is ballistic on 3S. I think 2S is more than enough for most people. The gyro works very very well. It drifts like a champ on the included drifty wheels. I've owned just about every kind/brand of RC car over the years and I can't think of anything that goes so well right out of the box. The body is super nice looking too. I paid less than $150 all in and for what you get it's just unbeatable. The 1/7th scale version is next on my list. Maybe the 1/10th too. Gotta keep the family together!!!! Check out these wheels I found in my parts bin. They say GQ on the side and have a smooth surface (slick) and they drift REALLY WELL. Plus the white color really pops on this dope ride. I throw this sucker in my backpack and take it to work and have an absolute blast drifting in the p-lot. Much better than the included plastic drift wheels because they have just a little more traction letting me drift a lot faster. Just an all around great rc for the money. It's very very refined in how it operates. The killer looks are just the icing on the cake!!!!

Overall value is the true selling point for this vehicle. The fact that it comes with two batteries, two sets of tires, extra screws/parts and a gyro is amazing. The overall look is great and appears to be too scale. The car is fairly solid with ample weight and lots of metal parts, surprising in this price point. Particularly impressive is the user manual. It contains exploded view diagrams and part numbers for every part on the vehicle. Not something you generally find with a budget RC. I did find a few errors in the English translation. Clearance is low and I wouldn’t recommend for rocky dirt surfaces but it’s quick af on pavement and groomed dirt. Parts and support may be an issue but I’ve experienced that with the big brands too. The addition of the parts list in the user manual tells me replacements are available. MJX has also proven itself to be a solid competitor. Have fun and keep expectations reasonable.

I have had this product for a couple weeks now and I am pretty happy with it. I bought it because I love RC cars, rally cars, and Citroen C3 is one of my favorite rally cars so it was a must-own for me. They also offer a Lancia Delta version which I plan to get as well (if I can't own the real thing then the RC version is fine with me!). I read other comments about how the reverse is troublesome (this is true~ it works when it feels like it), and that the front alignment is off and not fixable. The front alignment can be fixed by adjusting a dial on the hand controller so that the car does not drift to one side or the other. The controller also has a setting for 70% power or 100% power. I highly recommend using 70% to start because this thing hauls at 100% and it can be a challenge to control. All of the wheels work for their set purpose but try not to use the offroad tires on anything but offroad because they wear out really fast. Also, harder offroad surfaces are better because this thing will get stuck if the offroad surface is softer (offroad trucks would be a better option if you want more hardcore offroad action, but a hard dirt track is good for this product). I never knew how drift RC cars worked and I was always curious and this came with a set of drift tires and it is more fun than I originally thought. If you have the indoor space for drifting this is a lot of fun. I am happy with the standard tires and they satisfy my urge to drive this thing. The build quality seems pretty good. The skid plate under the car is metal and can take a beating. Plus, I have crashed this thing many times and was certain it was broken but it kept going. I was shocked many times over. Overall, pretty happy with the purchase. I would rate it a 5 but I gave it a 4 because it took me some time to figure out how to adjust the front alignment and until I figured it out I was pretty upset and thought I wasted my money. Plus the reverse control works when it feels like it.

I feel like I’m pretty “qualified” to be speaking on this rc car (for background have fully custom built scx24, hpi wr8, axial Capra 1/18 and 1/10 and a deadbolt 1/10, dromada rc cars, full carbon fiber traxxas stampede etc) and have been playing with rc cars since I was a kid, this rc car is a probably one of the best bang for buck ones you can get. If you know rc cars you know the ones I listed above stock are 2-5x+ this cost and I feel like this competes with the quality so well I WANT to hate it but can’t because good quality rc cars off Amazon usually aren’t this price or if they are this price they aren’t good! The specs- Oil filled shocks, 3 sets of tires, (2 rally sets 1 drift set) function lights, brushless motor, stock metal parts that usually you have to upgrade to, and if you already tinker with rc cars you can fully mod these wrc style or drag style (some people build these for 100mph+) so this is a very mod-able and great car for kids wanting to get into the rc car scene but can’t buy an axial or traxxas yet while still competing with them. Now for durability, yes people who never had a rc car or abuse this can and will break parts first use, keep in mind this is a car that is barely over a foot long maybe that can go 40mph+ on a 3s battery and 30mph+ out the box. Buy extra drive shaft axles and plastic parts because every rc car breaks parts even real cars! I wish you could find quality like this at prices like this 10 years ago when I was a kid, would’ve saved me a lot of money!! Look forward to buying more from MJX.

I love this RC car so much that I bought a second one! Not only is it well built and really durable (the base plate is all metal!), it is also very fast. The fact that it comes with 2 batteries and 3 sets of different tires at this price point makes this one of the best RCs out there. I had built several TT-01 and -02 kits from Tamiya but always felt like they are a bit more fragile so I started looking for something tougher and glad I came across MJX. I wish this also came as a kit you can put together and maybe have a few different make/model body shells. Would love to see more from MJX in this segment.
