The spoons are solid and a good size. Good quality for the price.

My first impression was that these were a little lightweight, but they actually work very well and I'm happy with them. You get three solid and three slotted, which is a very handy assortment. They are stamped "STAINLESS STEEL" on the back. When I ordered them, I had in mind a dinner that was coming up I was hosting, and my serving spoons always disappear like crazy as we often have get-togethers at the homes of different family and friends, and when you bring spoons with your dishes, it seems like they end up going to someone else's home, and they frequently don't remember to bring them back or even know they have them. These aren't super thin, but not as heavy as I'm used to. They are also sort of round in shape reminding me of the shape of large soup spoons, but they really worked fine with all of our food types - they scooped pasta, a corn casserole, potatoes, fruit and more. The size is especially suited for common medium-sized casseroles and bowls. And a lot of people don't need or want to take giant scoops. I'm very happy that I now have a bunch of new serving spoons so I have plenty the next time I have guests.

What I like best about these is the size. I have serving spoons that are much larger and heavier for holiday and birthday use. Those seem like overkill for your every monday night dinner. This set is the perfect in the middle ground b/t your large table spoon and holidy serving spoon. They are large enough to work as serving spoons, yet light enough and thin enough that I don't feel like I'm pulling out something fancy to dish out mashed potatoes. I use these with almost every dinner I cook for my family of 6, love them. side note- a few of them looked tarnished when I got them. I washed them in the diswaher and they cleaned up just fine. Hopefully that was just a fluke, hopefully yours are clean on arrival.

This is a beautiful serving spoon set that comes with 3 serving spoons and 3 serving spoons with slits. These are bigger than the normal spoons that would be used for eating. These are the perfect size to use to serve food and they give a good amount of food with each spoonful. These are made very well and are of a good thickness and have a good weight to them. They are very shiny. They look and feel that they are high quality. I have used these many times already and they wash well by being hand washed and they wash well in a dishwasher. These have not chipped or ruined. They came packaged very nicely and securely with each spoon wrapped up well.

I ordered these lovely stainless serving spoons and forks because they are a simple neutral design that I thought would go with any setting that I have. I have now used the several times as they are in daily use, and found them to be very nice. They are comfortable to hold and to use, the spoons have a big enough bowl to be very useful but not so big as to be awkward. The same goes for the forks. While they are simple in design, they are elegant in regard to quality. They are finished very nicely and smoothly with no roughness or irregularity. They have now been through many machine washes and continue to look shiny and new. They are just what I wanted, and are a good value. I recommend these utensils.

Why did I wait so long to get serving spoons? Great deal for six spoons. These are the correct size. Bigger than a tablespoon but not so big that you give out huge portions and waste food. The length is just right so they don’t tip out of your serving bowls. They are the correct weight. Lightweight but not too light. I’ve had random mismatched serving spoons so this just elevated my entertaining. But as you can see I grab them to cook with as well. So they are sturdy enough for that too. If I had one small complaint it would be that the edges could be smoother. But really not a game-changer. I would still purchase them for the price.

Nothing like the Holidays to make you realize you really could use more serving spoons, so when I came across these I ordered them. While they'll do the trick, they are very light weight, the bowls seem a bit small and all-in-all they're nothing special in terms of manufacture or appearance. That said, entertaining a crowd? They'll work fine, so long as you are not looking for anything fancy, and they are affordably priced.
