Gourmet $
I picked up these Hunter's chips because I wanted a really high-quality snack for a weekend gathering. I bought the four count pack, which is great for trying the flavor or for sharing with a group. The idea of a hand cooked chip with simple Himalayan pink salt sounded like a nice gourmet treat. The quality and texture are fantastic. They are truly hand cooked, and every chip has a superb, uneven crunchiness that you don't get with regular chips. This is definitely a thick, sturdy chip, giving it good durability against breakage, which is great when serving guests. They're cooked in 100 percent sunflower oil, and you can see that they have a beautiful golden color. The simple pink salt flavor really lets the quality of the potato and the cooking process shine through. For functionality, they provide a rich and satisfying crunch that completely elevates the snacking experience.I appreciate how practical these chips are for hosting. They are certified nut free and gluten free, and also cholesterol free and vegan, which means I can put them out and not worry about common guest allergies or dietary restrictions. That level of care in production is a big plus for me. The four individual bags are easy to open and serve. These are a no fuss snack, which adds to the ease of use. The value here is that this is a truly yummy snack, but because of its gourmet nature, it is definitely more of a once in a while treat. You get what you pay for in terms of quality and superior ingredients. They are very tasty, but because they are so rich and pure, my only minor critique is that if you are looking for an intense, bold flavor like cheese or barbecue, this might feel too simple. They are fairly clean, with a low level of greasiness. As, I said before they are EXPENSIVE. But if you want a perfect, clean potato chip experience, this is it. They are a wonderful treat to delight anyone.

A little can of crunchy joy!
These chips are seriously crispy with just the right amount of salt and limited oiliness. I love a good plain potato chip and these fit the bill perfectly with a mild potato flavor that tastes like it’s fresh out of the fryer - these definitely have the mouthfeel and taste of a gourmet potato chip. They’re hearty enough to hold up to even thick dips without breaking off in the dip, the texture reminds me of kettle chips with a significant crunch that holds up during chewing. I received 8 individually sealed cans, and they’re super convenient for travel or tossing into a bag. Just a heads up: they do arrive mostly in pieces. You’ll find a few intact chips in each can, but the majority are broken. It doesn’t affect the flavor, but it’s worth noting if you prefer full-sized chips. I love that there are only three ingredients — potatoes, sunflower oil, and Himalayan pink salt. Simple and clean. Just be aware that the nutrition label is for less than the full can, since each can is listed as 1.5 servings. I usually eat one can over a few days, and the packaging with the plastic lid keeps them tasting fresh and crunchy for at least 3 days after opening. These won’t replace my regular brand, they are a little too pricey for a regular purchase, but I really enjoyed the convenience and portability. They’re a tasty, easy snack to take on the go!

Savory Potato Chips
These chips arrived in a hard cardboard box from the manufacturer, and are also packed in individual tubes. Overall this helped protect the chips in transit and they arrived in nice and complete condition. Each of the tubes I received are well before their expiration date. The tubes look deceptively small, but are packed to the brim with chips and easily contain enough portion of chips inside as a regular bag of potato chips from the store. The chips themselves have a really crispy, crunchy texture and feels noticeably thicker than regular potato chips. Each chip is about the same size as a regular potato chip, but just thicker. They are only flavored with pink salt, but the saltiness comes across as having a very savory quality to it that regular salty flavored potato chips from retail stores lack. Is this savory flavor from the pink salt or something else? I can't tell for sure, but as far as just plain salty chips go, these are easily the best I've had in a very long time. These are also pretty healthy as they lack the typical chemical additives one can expect from American snacks. It's also convenient that the chips come packed inside separate, sealed tubes. This makes it really easy to share these with other people, and help ensure that I have the freshest portion to eat whenever I open a new tube. These chips are pricey. If you're looking for a high end gourmet potato chip, they are a fine value for the price as their taste and special crunch will prove themselves beyond a doubt as a luxury snack. If you're simply looking for something cheap to munch on without much care about the taste, these may not be the best for that purpose.

Love these healthy chips!
I'm sure I'm not the only one these days that is looking for a cleaner and slightly healthier alternative to one of America's favorite snacks... Chips. I'm a chipoholic and am pretty picky when it comes to them. I'm not a huge fan of the biggest brands out there and end up with niche brands and flavors that I find interesting! These chips from Hunter's caught my eye for a few reasons, but mainly because they are advertised to be about as "pure" and "healthy" as a potato chip can get. No preservatives, gluten, etc. Just clean ingredients. I have tried my hand at doing this myself at the house, but it's hard to get that crispy crunch in the air fryer. Well, these chips definitely hit the mark. They taste pretty good, and the saltiness is not too much. The Himalayan salt is supposedly a better alternative to table salt so I suppose that's a plus. I would say these have good flavor, but it's a little plain to me. Like I said, I like the niche flavors. However, if you were to put a can of these down next to the big yellow brand chips, I'd take these over them hands down. It's very comparable in flavor and probably even more crisper. They have a solid "crunch" when you bite into them and are thicker than other. Overall, grab these if you want a cleaner alternative to our favorite snack!

Thick, Crunchy, Salty Chips in Little Cans
I like good quality chips. I don't snack a lot, so when I do I want something that tastes good and may be healthier than some others. This is why I was interested in these Hunter's Gourmet Hand-Cut Chips. Pros: - Well-sealed. - Not many broken chips or crumb. - Very crunchy. - Salty. - Conveniently sized cans. - Good for travel Cons: - Value isn't very good considering quantity. The chips were well-sealed. There were no unsealed cans. The can size is convenient for snacking or taking to school/work. Because they are in a can, they do travel well in a bag or backpack. The chips were fresh. They had a good crunch. These are a bit thicker chip but still crisp. They are salty. Overall, I do like them. I appreciate that they are non-GMO and free from artificial colors. I do think they are good quality. The value is just a bit high when compared to similar quality chips.

Crunchy but not Worth the High Cost
I got these because I enjoy potato chips and like trying new ones. These stood out as a specialty chip, so I wanted to see how they compared. The tins were sealed well and felt sturdy. The chips looked golden and natural, lightly oiled, and irregular in shape. I did not notice much visible pink salt on them. The tins were about 3/4 full, so not just air. The chips were crisp and crunchy, with a lighter texture than standard chips. They did not leave much oil on my fingers, which I liked. The flavor was good, but the salt level was very light for me. A 40g tin felt small, and not enough to call a real snack. Freshness and flavor were consistent across all four tins. I gave these 3 stars because while the chips had good crunch, nice potato flavor, and were not greasy, the portion sizes were too small, and the price was unreasonable. At $22.99 for four 40g tins, it works out to over $4 an ounce, which is far too expensive compared to other options. The taste was fine, but not worth the cost.

Potato Chips in a Can
I love potato chips and enjoy sampling unfamiliar chip varieties, thus I was eager to try these unique canned chips. The product consists of four 40 gram cans and was produced in the United Arab Emirates. Each can is foil sealed to preserve freshness. It seems that this company primarily produces food products for the Asian market and thus, is lesser known here in the U.S. The nutritional label and instructions are mostly in Japanese, with an English-language nutritional label sticker covering the Japanese version. The chips are quite delicious. They are cut much thicker than most chips I’ve had and that, along with a heavy dose of sea salt, makes them an wonderful snacking experience. These chips have such a nice, satisfying crunch. Unfortunately, you don’t get much (1.5 servings) in each can. However, given how delicious these chips are, the small cans might be the only thing keeping me from absolutely stuffing myself. Positives: 1. Chips are delicious 2. Unique container (can instead of bag) 3. Product is very fresh - received several months before expiration date Negatives: 1. Each can is very small, containing only 1.5 servings. Thus, you aren’t getting a lot for your money. Overall, I think this is a fun, unique product that would be enjoyed by most potato chip fans. It’s not a great value but as an occasional purchase or a novelty to try once, I think it’s worth ordering.

Taste like regular kettle chips
- They taste like normal kettle chips to me. But I only tried the plain flavor so I can't speak for any of the fancy fun flavors. I'm not sure why anyone would buy the plain flavor for this price honestly. - They are fairly small pieces and are slightly more greasy than I prefer, but overall they're tasty enough. - For some reason the nutrition label is glued on top of the other label instead of printed on. Doesn't affect the actual product but it does look pretty tacky and not something you'd expect to see from a typical high quality company.
