It’s not heavily padded but it is not on the lighter side either . The thickness of the mats are somewhere in between . They are comfortable to stand on. And pretty good grip. I’m not sure how they would do long term . And they may be a good fit for smaller kitchens and not bigger room space . The texture might fade or wear out with time .

These are not bad .. I expected these would be of a smaller size and so were they. It’s not heavily padded but it is not on the lighter side either . Love the boho blue design of these mats. They are also comfortable under foot. Wish they were couple inches wider like my previous mats. My kitchen width is only 6.5 feet and appears a bit small for it. They also move a bit underfoot.
