A must have
This is my 2nd rush bag. I have a rush 72 but wanted a smaller version. Possibly the best backpack ever made. If I had to chose one bag for any situation, it would be a rush series bag. The 24 is the most practical size. The 72 is a bit large but awesome for a travel bag especially if you fly alot and dont want to check a bag. Zippers are great, material is high quality, and the shoulder straps are very strong and reinforced.

Well made and robust. More expensive but, it's worth it.
I feel like a kid at Christmas. I love this pack. Right now for this size I use it every day to carry my laptop back and forth to a place outdoors where i sit, smoke a cigar, and work on my book. I use its zippers a lot and I put it on and take it off a lot. The pack I replaced was something branded as "Army" from a local retailer. It’s zippers finally gave out and it was developing a tear where one of the straps anchored at the top, probably form struggling to put it one which heavy coats in the winter season. I balked at the price of the 5.11 at first as it seems "gold plated." But, as the old saying goes you get what you pay for and this pack is top notch. I could not be happier. Sturdier material, better strap design, and robust zippers. Although I still have a larger SOG pack I use for grocery shopping and larger items, I am probably going to get the bigger version of this 5.11 pack as it is really that good. Recommended.

Loving the backpack
Haven't had it for too long now, but it's a fantastic bag. Really comfortable and can fit quite a lot. I bicycle everywhere so a comfortable and functional backpack is a must and the versatility of the Molle webbing makes adding more storage so much more convenient. I also went ahead and detached the front buckle across the chest and used it to secure a first aid kit on the back since I ride my bike everywhere and having some bandaids is always nice. It fits a laptop, folder, a couple radios, their cables, a good amount of miscellaneous trinkets as well as an eBike battery with ease. Didn't love that it didn't come with a side pocket for a water bottle but that was quickly resolved with one I had lying around and is more purpose built for it. if you need a robust backpack for every day, hiking, or drills, I recommend.

Excellent bag!
This is the second time I have purchased this backpack. It's a really great bag. I like these tactical bags because they have lots of features that I like. There's lots of pockets and compartments which is obviously great. There's a sleeve for a laptop so I can use it for work. It's got the MOLLE attachment points if I need to add something. My favorite part, though, is that this thing is made from materials that are clearly tough and durable. I abuse this thing and I have never had a problem ever. The only reason I had to replace the first one was because I finally found something that was capable of destroying this bag: a corgi puppy. No bag on the planet could survive this beast. The reason that I selected this bag in particular is because it's just black. A lot of times these tactical bags have American flags and skulls on them and stuff. I'm not a doomsday prepper or anything like that - I just wanted a nice, high-quality backpack. It's a great bag.

Well made good price roomy
Bought this to try rucking, cheaper than rucking branded items and in my mind more versatile. Fits well, well made, holds the two off size plates I got to hump with. Seems big enough to hold lots of other junk, err stuff, if I use it to actually go on a trip and not walk around with the weight of a small dog on my back.

Built to Last, good everyday bag - small for every day use
Finally decided to purchase this as an office and all around bag. I have multiple other purpose built bags but this is highly unlikely to displace them for specific activities. PROS: 1) Material, zippers, etc. are all well built and should last as long as needed for general use. 2). Pocket and storage organization suits my needs for a general bag. I keep a small flashlight, solar charger, small medical kit, masks, eye glass ket, multi tool, etc. Normal EDC items w/ some emergency prep stuff too. Everything has its place. 3). It is not very big which is a pro for my needs but ymmv. The laptop sleeve won't house anything larger than a compact option. Works for my dell work laptop and mac book air. My dell work laptop barely fits 9" x 12 &3/8ths". Main compartment can easily store a light jacket, water bottle, lunch, binocs... 4) Fairly comfortable, but I have used it with heavy loads or for extended periods (verdict not in yet). 5) The carry handle is sturdy. CONS: 1) The shoulder strap plastic buckles are a weak design point IMO. They are protected well though and fine for normal use. I did not really key in on this prior to purchasing the bag. It would have given my pause. 2). The back compartment for a bladder or something slim is a waste of space and makes the pack look and sit a bit awkward. There are very few activities where hands free hydration is necessary. Bladders are a liability overall. This also causes the pack to be less form fitting. 3) Heavy overall which is good for durability, but the bladder compartment, poly support add to the heft without providing utility ymmv CONCLUSION: good all around everyday bag; good value on sale; well built and should last well over a decade of general everyday use; stiff at first, but should break in nicely over time update after carrying 5 days a week for 3 months or so. The bag is great, but if buying again, I would upsize to the 25. The bladder system eats into storage space, and this is a bit on the small side. Also, my medium work dell laptop barely fits in the sleeve. I don't carry it every day (just weekends for the most part) so it isn't a big deal. YMMV. With the packing allocation above, I don't have much room for layers, a 32oz nalgene, binocs, etc. or other items to fit in the main compartment without being cramped.

Good Fishing Backpack
Was needing a fishing backpack and came across this tactical backpack. This pack is a good size that isn't going to be too wide or too long on your back like some packs. This backpack with a few strap accessories is perfect for our fishing net, extra tackle, fishing line, etc.
