Very useful, easy to use, great magnification.
This was a fun item for our grandkids (5-10 year olds) on vacation. We didn't let them take them outside, but had them go outside and collect items, bring those to the house and supervise them more closely. The view screen is large and the focusing was easy for the kids to use. They had a lot of fun looking at different textures and details in various nature items. Only complaint is the lens cap isn't attached in any way, so once it's taken off, it could be very easy to lose. It's an important item to keep the lens clean and safe, so we kept reminding the kids to replace it. It would be helpful if it were attached, or if there were some place on the device to hold the lens cap while the kids are using the device.

Great Educational Toy/Tool
I absolutely love the BEAVERLAB Finder Microscope! It’s incredibly easy to use, and I had a lot of fun exploring different textures and objects with it. The 4.0" screen provides clear, detailed images at 100X-1600X magnification, though I’m not sure how realistic the 1600X magnification really is. That said, you can get really close and see some amazing details. The adjustable lights and portable design are perfect for on-the-go exploration. My kids are fascinated by everything they can observe. I highly recommend it for young and old explorers alike!

Such a cool gadget!!!
This thing is so cool!!! The picture is amazing and so many neat features. I bought one for my nephew for Christmas and ended up getting one because it was just too neat to not own one at home!!! It says it’s for kids but adults find it interesting and useful to. It’s been very educational to see everyday things in an entirely new way up close. Buy this!!!

Absolutely incredible and will peak your child’s interest in science!
These were a huge hit for Christmas! My children are now interested in learning how everything looks up close from decomposing fruit to skin cells to fabric. These are great quality! I only wish they took batteries instead of having to be plugged in to charge.

This is pretty cool
This is pretty cool but gets old fast. It's nothing like a microscope but it really magnifies things. To capture a photo or a video is somewhat difficult because it's not really a button you have to push but rather an indentation and how do you push on something that is already pushed in? It's not easy and you have to try several times before it will actually take the picture. The design of it actually sucks.

Do itttt! You won't regret it! Great tool and toy.
Works really well. I was actually surprised with the quality for the price! It has a built in light to brighten up whatever you're microscoping. Lightweight, easily held and adjusted with one hand. Powerful zoom. I'm impressed and would love to buy this for anyone and everyone. Just fun to have around. Oh, not to mention I was able to successfully sex a 7g crested gecko (if you know anything about geckos that's pretty wild!) I LOVE THIS LITTLE TOOL TOY! YAY!

Device works but shocking support and documentation
PROS: THis device works. When you have a problem their customer service responds the very next day (except weekend).CONS: The user manual is almost useless. When you tell them there is something wrong they won't do anything, they just keep sending emails that it does work and you don't know what you are doing. The device has 3 operating modes. Stand-alone, connected to your iPhone, connected to a computer. You cannot transfer data from one mode to the other. In my case the TF card reader is physically blocked and they refuse to send me a replacement, just keep getting email after email.Their software does not have a security clearance so MAC OS refuses to load it (you have to changes the security settings for this software). The TF card apparently only use the (oldest) MicroSD card (2GB) and not the newer larger sizes. Picture shows how it does not fit in the slot. You get the feeling that they are not ALLOWED to send out replacements.Addendum: They sent me another one. Same problem. But we found that there was already a TF card in the reader and IT was blocking access. I have to say that getting their software to work IS possible, but you have to work at it.Bottom line is that this is a child's device and not intended for serious grown-ups who think is should do a lot more.
