Works fantastic!
This fits in my file drawer perfectly. It comes with batteries, so you don't have to buy any upfront. Comes with two keys, easy enough to understand directions to help set up codes. Real well made and solid.

Good, solid, safe... can't beat the price!!
Bought this safe about 5 months ago. It is extremely sturdy, easy to use and I really like that you can set a pin instead of having to use keys (although you do have both the pin and key options to choose from). It's heavy and there's really no way someone could break into it (we've had other cheaper, flimsy models (more like cheesy little kids safes, or plastic boxes with locks and keys/pad locks) and those were easy to break into and/or open up without even unlocking the lock!!). Someone could potentially snatch the whole thing, but that wasn't of particular concern at this time. I'm about to purchase a second one for storing small valuables (first one was for my "tween" so he could safely store some gift cards and cash he received as a birthday present... probably a little "overkill" for just those items, but you can't beat the price and I figured he could take it to college in the next several years, and yes... based on the quality, I do expect it to last that long) and I would definitely recommend this safe to others.

Had an issue, the manufactorer made it right.
This safe has been the perfect safe for my needs. I ordered it, and sadly about four months later I encountered an issue after changing the battery for the first time in which it would not allow me to resent a code and it would not take the original security code.I tried some troubleshooting on my own and looking over the manufacturer's website. Eventually, I emailed them to let them know the symptoms to my issue and to ask if they had any troubleshooting steps.I was surprised to hear back from them that this is, in fact, a known issue with this safe and that rather than go through any further troubleshooting they were going to send me a new safe, and I could keep the old one. No charge. That is taking ownership of an issue and making it right! I highly recommend this product for its quality, ease of use, concealability, and of course for the service the manufacturer provided!

Noisy but is easily fixed.
This safe is perfect for my nightstand, it's cheap and it works great. I read the reviews before I bought it and saw a lot of people complain about how noisy it is when you punch in the code. All You have to do is unscrew the back behind the door and look for the black round thing with a hole in the middle, that's where the sound comes from. What I did was squirt super glue into the hole, then I stuffed a piece of flint from a zippo into it which was the perfect size and it was the only thing I could find that was small enough. It muffles the noise a lot, so you can still hear it but is not loud at all.

A must have security, peace of mind
Its a must have to secure your valuebles money important documents, not fire proof ,but you can buy a fire proof protection pouch for extra protection easy to secure in a wall or floor.Ready out of the box ,will give you peace of mind. With covid19 I keep more money at home to avoid going to the atm everyday.Nothing is going to walk away without you knowing itHomes are being broken in for money, secure your Valuebles under the floor or wall, always leave a little small cash for the cooks so he will leave as a soon as possible. And not harm your family, always have a separate banking account seperated from your primary account, where you transfer money into the account via your online banking as needed.Banking phone apps not good, the crooks will make you sign on and see all your money.Use your computer or sign on via internet. Protect your money.People are desperate more than ever, know your surroundings when walking out don't fight or resist don't keep your credit cards in your pocket book, keep it in a small wallet one bank card small account in your front pocket,at gun point the crook will take you to an outdoor atm and force you to withdraw all your money.Never put all your eggs in one basket.you'll be glad you did.Hope you find this info helpful

Late late review but worth it!!
I bought this in April 2021. When I was in the hospital for an emergency C-section with my twins, my house burned down and this was one of the only things still standing strong and in good condition!! We still have it lol

Lock broke and jammed shut 3 months after purchase.
First of all I'd like to apologize to anyone who might have bought this safe based on my earlier enthusiastic 5 star review about the product . I'm editing it to set the record straight. Initially I was impressed by the safe's sturdiness and its functionality; I was very happy with this safe. I guess now in hindsight I willfully ignored some warning signs like how the entire upper lock cover is made out of plastic, or how the knob which is the only way to turn the two solid steel deadbolts is also made out of a cheap plastic. In the end it was this last part that did it.After only 3 months of very moderate use I punched in the code one day, it gave me the confirmation beep that I had entered the right code, I turned the knob like I always do and then *SNAP*!!! The knob just spun freely 360 degrees in either direction. Retrieving the key didn't help either. The lock will not budge. You can't turn the key. It's jammed shut. And the worst part: The rest of the safe is very sturdy and the steel is very thick so it's not exactly the easiest safe to break into.So now I just called a locksmith and am going to pay him $75 to open a $35 safe to retrieve my $500 gun and my passport. Needless to say this was a bad deal. Shouldn't have went cheap on a safe.
