I’ve used Double Take mirrors for years and can confidently say they’re built to last. My original pair is still going strong after 5 years of use, and another set I bought 3 years ago has held up well too. The mirrors and arms are Made in the USA, which I really appreciate for quality and reliability. The newer model does come with Chinese ball mounts instead of the original RAM mounts, and honestly, the ball mounts wear out quickly—my brand-new set started showing wear within an hour. The stainless steel ball studs can also cause a chemical reaction with aluminum or mixed alloys when wet, leading to premature corrosion on your bike mounts. This was a big concern for me. That said, I’m changing my rating from 3 stars back to 5 stars because of two things: Longevity – My original pair is still working perfectly after years of daily use. Improved Purchase Options – Their website now allows you to buy just the mirrors, so if you want USA-only parts, you can avoid the Chinese components entirely. I’d still prefer to pay $10 more to keep everything Made in the USA, but overall, these mirrors remain a solid choice for durability and functionality. Lo único es que andando en caminos muy agitados es que si alcanza a moverse el espejo, No he encontrado cómo mantenerlo 100% fijo pero nada que con un pequeño movimiento de la mano no resuelva.

I was on YouTube and saw a video about this product and instantly ordered it. Bought them for my Ktm 890 adventure r and took 5 minutes to install. They come with extra bolts to accommodate various different bikes. They did not cheap out. Very good quality , fast installation and took 3 days to arrive from Florida to western Canada. I’m very satisfied with my decision.

Those mirrors are amazing. Much better than version 1. Very stable. Very sturdy and reliable. Good vision. Easy to attach to the bike. Not cheap but if you will take under consideration that they have lifetime guarantee they are worth every penny.

I’ve installed the 6” version to my R1250GS Adventure, and ‘am happy with the results. I’ve set the mirrors near eye-level and do feel like I have a good view of what’s behind me, without much effort. The original BMW mirrors only have one ball at 45 degree angle, whereas this ones have two balls, so the range of adjustability is significantly better. The tightening knob is solidly made, and will lock up the desired adjusted position without vibrating out of adjustment. I should be able to use these mirrors off-road while standing in foot pegs because of the two-ball adjustability. The mirrors look good on the bike, and feel a lot more capable than the original ones. The quality is high and the materials seem heavy-duty. I would recommend.
