Product is very compact and very easy to install and configure. It worked as expected and I would recommend this as a good security gadget for any home.

Excellent product

The tapo smart hub works very well and serves the intended purpose of coordinating the smart devices. I am very satisfied with the functionality of the Hub app also and the degree of automation supported by the tapo ecosystem. Communication between devices is quick and haven't noticed any lag at all. However, the hub gets very hot and stays hot always, it's not clear why this is happening, so I'm worried about its longevity. Will have to wait and see.

If you have multiple Tapo devices, this is a very good addition. It connects with all the tapo devices and then you can set various automations. For example, I have set an automation in which any of my tapo terrace camera detects human or sensor detects that a door is open, the tapo hub will start an alarm, the tapo led strip will turn on with red color and I will receive a notification of an intruder from the tapo app. The only con is the max volume of the hub. It would have been better if it was more loud.

Since most Tapo CCTV cameras save playback videos to their own internal storage, this hub becomes an essential addition if you have multiple Tapo cameras. It works like an NVR, automatically storing all footage in one place on a microSD card. I noticed many reviews mentioning that the feature doesn’t work with Tapo cameras, but after updating both the camera and hub firmware, I was able to successfully pair it with my Tapo C320 cameras. You can also configure it to trigger alarms when motion or a person is detected, either during the day or at night.

Pros: Seamless Integration: The hub connects effortlessly with Tapo sensors and cameras, allowing for centralized control via the Tapo app. Local Storage: Supports microSD cards up to 512GB, enabling local storage of video footage. Multiple Ringtones: Offers 19 built-in ringtones with adjustable volume settings, providing customization for different scenarios . Cons: Mandatory Purchase: The hub is required for certain Tapo devices to function, adding to the overall cost. Low Alarm Volume: Even at maximum volume, the alarm isn't as loud as expected for security purposes . No Wall-Mount Option: The hub lacks built-in provisions for wall mounting, limiting placement options. Overall, the Tapo H200 Smart Hub performs its intended functions well but could benefit from louder alarm capabilities and more flexible installation options.

Very good product for tapo by tapo from home cctv to vaccum cleaners

Works perfectly, put in a 512gb SD card, format it, and within a couple of minutes, it was working, paired with my doorbell and recording all events, it also allows me to link CCTV cameras to it, so it ok when I install them, and link them to the hub too

Il Tapo H200D è un hub smart semplice e affidabile, facile da configurare anche per chi non è esperto. Le notifiche dei sensori arrivano subito (ad esempio apertura porte o movimento) e l’allarme integrato è molto utile. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

Prend peu de place, paramétrage facile, couvre sans problème 100 m2 avec étage un module amplificateur est disponible pour les cas difficiles. L'ajout et le paramétrage des capteurs et caméras compatibles est aussi facile que rapide . Matériel à conseiller.

Be aware that even though sold on Amazon Canada it is not compatible and you will need an adapter. Returning isnt worth it as the postage back was $165. Great customer service though.
