Poor Customer Service.
Full disclosure, I didn't purchase my BE805 from Amazon, I got it from Costco. I am writing this as input to anyone who is considering buying one. My BE805 was extremely painful to setup as a mesh network; even with TP-Link Technical support (note: you usually wait well over an hour to speak to someone who is rarely helpful -- I'm currently waiting again, silly me. But this time it's to return the router). After I finally got it set up, it ran OK for a while, but then I started to have intermittent connection problems, as we have Century link DSL our internet service is slow and problematic given we're at the end of the line. After many painful months of dealing with the very poor quality service, I managed to finally isolate the problem.. It was the BE805 intermittently slowing and dropping the signal.... I will look to avoid TP-link in the future, not so much because of the hardware where lemons do occur, but for the extremely poor customer service.

Support was helpful. 2000 sf house with basement
My house has a footprint of approx. 2000 square feet. First floor and a basement. Set up router in basement on front left side of house. Great speed and connectivity throughout house except on the opposite corner of house. So i bought a second BE805 router to act as a satellite and that solved the problem. Called customer service and the rep joey sonio helped me get it installed. He was patient helpful and resolved my install issue. Great speeds throughout entire house now.

not the latest model just a stripped down version
BE800 is the newest and fastest model, NOT BE805. so don't be fooled. The BE805 is a stripped down version! The BE805 does NOT come with 4 x 2.5Gbps ports or 10GB SFP+ support!

DOES NOT WORK
This device is horrendous. The App isn't easy to use nor can you see or sort real time usage. The connectivity in a <2000 sq ft. house is bad - even though they say it should cover more. I even ended up using some branded extenders - still doesn't work well. I reached out for support - took forever for them to respond, and weren't much help.
