If you are going to Flux Core, yup this machine hums - very easy to set up and very easy to use. Stick is stick - again, easy Haven't tried MIG yet as I do not have an extra bottle for the proper gas. Unfortunately, the gauge included for my Argon tank is junk. It stopped showing the bottle pressure before my first small tank was empty. Kind of hard to predict when I will need another bottle and since I live 1/2 hour away from the nearest gas supplier I am going to have to replace a brand new item. Not happy with that. Review: I bought this over 2 years ago. I never had any issues with it, including tig welding aluminum. Back then I paid $1,450 for it. It is the exact one they are selling now for $985. They should reimburse me the difference. Now They are selling the omni 210 Kit for $1,450. Buy the one for $985, It’s a better deal with a much better tig torch. If so, can i completley disable it? Not % change between feed speed and volts but completley independently adju** A: Synergy cannot be completely disabled - Similar to the MIG200GDsv, output voltage can be adjusted within a certain percentage range (roughly 15% +/-). The MIG210LCD is the only machine in our lineup that has a MIG spot timer. **Q: Can this welder do AC or DC in stick mode?** A: Most of you stick rods can burn on dc. This machine is only dc for stick welding.
