DUSICHIN DUS-018 Foam Cannon Lance Pressure Washer Nozzle Tip Spray Gun 3000 PSI Jet Wash Car Detailing

I bought this foam gun to use with a small electric Ryobi 1600psi pressure washer exclusively for washing cars. The trigger handle is easier to use that the long wand provided with the pressure washer. The foam canon works great! It has a plastic bottle and adjustable flow brass proportioning valve. The plastic bottle feels light weight and a bit delicate, but take care not to drop or abuse it and I feel it should be durable enough for my uses. Be sure to securely install the thin tube inside of the bottle to the bottom of the brass valve that screws on to the bottle. The amount of foam depends on the type of car wash soap you use and the proportioning valve on top of the bottle. It can range from thick, heavy soapy foam to almost clear water depending on how open or closed the valve is. A quick release fitting easily removes the soap bottle and can be replaced with one of the colored tips. I use only green or white on the car's paint to prevent any damage. Occasionally I use the yellow tip inside wheel wells, etc. Overall the system is relatively inexpensive performs very well

I tried it right away as a car wash, not expecting it to have pressure equal to a self serve car wash. I was wrong. The soap spray had plenty of force for the soil level on my vehicle at the time. Granted, I hadn't been driving through mud but it cleaned the day to day dust and dirt and rainwater spots with no scrubbing at all. I easily removed the soap dispenser and snapped in one of the many nozzles that came with it and found one that worked great as a high pressure rinse. My pressure washer is pretty old and the connection had to modified but I found a high quality adapter at Northern Tool specifically for pressure washers. They cost around $10 to $15. I had to make a trip to the hardware store for one more fitting, a 3/8" male to male with a compression fitting on one end, cost less that a dollar. That did require a couple wrenches to install. If you already have a power washer my guess is you have that covered. My only concern is how rugged is the soap bottle? Hopefully there are replacements available, in fact I think its a good idea to find one or two before you need them.

Ok, I am no professional detailer.....and could tell you the differences between this and some high end fancy foam cannon.....so keep that in mind when reading this review.....if anyone ever reads my reviews. Bought this cuzz it was cheap and came with a gun. I used it with my ryobi power washer and it works great. I put in the chemical brothers soap and set the flow on the cannon and presto.....I foamed the hell out of car. I filled the entire container up with soap and quickly realized Inused WAY to much....Inwould have been good with filling tye reservoir slightly over a quarter full. But I had fun messing around with everything. Tye plastic container does fill a little flimsy as in if I drop it will not survive the fall. The gun is nice and it was very convenient to have the gun come with the cannon....I put a quick disconnect at the end of my foam gun so I can quickly switch out the cannon for my regular wand. So in summery Inreally like it...you cannot beat the price and it works really well with the chemical brothers punk cherry/bubble gum smelling stuff....oh and I am sorry for not posting pics......

Final Update I have this cannon since Jun 2018 and use it over 50+ times. everything still work as it should no complaint at all. No leaking or anything, just work as the first day. Some rust build up on some of the nozzles connection, the cannon itself is still in great shape! Great buy! ------------- First review: I have use this cannon for only two time so far and the result is great! it does give a thick foam, and the foam can stay and last about 3 to 4 minutes on the car surface. I pick this package is because it comes with these extra nozzle tips. the first wash I use Chemical guy honeydew snow foam, and the second wash I use Griots garage 10866 pink color soap. and the electric power washer is 1800psi they both give a thick foam and perform very well! Overall for the price and performance is worth it! The cannon did not comes with any instructions or guide to use the mixture of the soap, This is my own measurement, to wash a large size SUV (BMW X5), I use 150ml soap and top up with water (900ml). for small car (Fiat 500) I use 100ml soap and add water to 600ml mark. Both setup I can completely cover the car and wheels with foam when the bottle run empty.

This thing is the absolute BOMB! I use it with a Harbor Freight electric washer and it works fantastic! I did have to purchase an adapter separately since the off brand washer has a 15mm hose end to connect and the foam cannon has the standard 14mm. No big deal, Amazon had it. Puts out great foam. Some were complaining about the adjustment knob and the "-" and "+". They correspond to the amount of water. "-" is for less water more foam and "+" for more water less foam. Seems backwards in my thinking, but no big deal. I do set mine on full "-" to get a frothy lather of soap. The five nozzles are great, too. I use the 25 degree the most to rinse off the dirt and then to rinse after washing. I don't know why I waited so long to come to the party with the foam cannon. Some have also complained that the cannon leaked at the connection just behind the connection to the bottle. Nothing that a little tighten won't fit with a crescent wrench. Just snug it up as there is an o-ring that seals it and you're ready to go. Hope this helps. You will not be disappointed.

To be honest, my expectations were not very high. I figured it would leak, not work, or be cheaply made. To my surprise, it's build quality is quite good. Both the gun and the soap dispenser are quality with brass fittings on everything. Both functioned perfectly. I am using it in a 2700 psi gas powered pressure washer. I love the short gun for getting inside wheel wells. I am considering switching over to an electric washer. I really don't need 2700 psi to wash my vehicles. Very pleased with this purchase. Buy it. You won't be sorry.

20190617 UPDATE (From 5 STARS to 1 STAR) I have used this 4 times exactly from the date I bought this over a month ago. Last time was yesterday and I'm disappointed that it does not foam the way it used to. I actually noticed this on the my 3rd use. Its dialed up all the way for maximum foam but I don't get that foam consistency (see VAN picture) as in my picture which was the first use. Disappointing. --- FIRST REVIEW --- Works as advertised. The spray gun itself looks well built. It is also little heavy in a good way (does not "weigh cheap"). So far I have used it twice and I'm very happy with it. The only thing I can add is that I think it would be easier to handle the kick of the water pressure if the nozzle is longer. So instead of the plastic container + nozzle gets connected directly to the gun, a wand extension would be better so you can have another hand holding the whole unit on the wand for better control.

The foam cannon works OK, but the nozzle control for the foam sprayer is super " twitchy " in that it is very hard to adjust the spray pattern properly, so you can have an average semi wide fan pattern. Within a few degrees of twisting it goes from nearly 180 to being a jet; and it does not seem to hold its exact place as expected. I seem to always have to adjust it for every use. The short handle is very practical. I use it - on low power - with a variety of 6 inch short wands to clean filters, get into wheel wells, nooks and crannies, ... But come to find out, the metal in the handle is rather thin. After four years of intermittent use to wash some pond filters, riding mower and cleaning the cars; with only me using it, not abusing it; today I found the head cracked off the wand handle, right next to the pressure washer where I keep the other wands & quick connects. So, be gentle with it.
