The product is great, but it cannot be installed on the F850GS due to insufficient space around the charging port. Before purchasing, you can use a piece of stiff paper to measure the distance from the center of the charging port to the edge of the instrument cluster. Multiply that distance by two and compare it with the width of the charger to get a rough idea of whether there is enough space for installation.

My German motorcycle has only DIN plugs and some of my accessories’ batteries are pitifully inadequate. This has solved my problem completely. I just need to remember to unplug it from my bike when I stop, because the plug on the bike is always hot. Fortunately, the LED screen on this adapter stays lit when I turn off the ignition. I recommend this adapter.

I planned to mount this charger behind the windshield of my DR650 dual sport motorcycle, but I ended up not installing it for a couple reasons. Primarily, it lacks a voltage readout which is really handy on a bike that lacks any gauges besides the speedometer. I have a lot of accessories hooked to my battery from grip heaters to chargers used for phone, GPS and GoPro batteries so I know my battery gets taxed with challenging loads sometimes and want to keep track of its status. This charger ticked all the other boxes on my checklist including powerful charging, the right number and types of charging ports, included wiring and fuse/holder and small size. One improvement I would have also liked is a more confidence-inspiring covers over the chargers, as in my situation they'd open to the sky with only a windshield in front of them. The covers for the charging ports felt like weak plastic held on by weaker tethers.

The first time I plugged it in it didn't work. I left it unplugged for almost a month until I realized the plug wasn't hooked up on the back end of the motorcycle. Now I use it all the time. It doesn't vibrate itself out of the plug. It gives a clear voltage reading and if this one e er gets broken or lost, I will definitely purchase this again.

This device provides two functions: 1. It serves as a convenient charger for your motorcycle. (Note: this won't fit in a car's DC power port, which used to be called a cigarette lighter port.) 2. It provides a voltage reading of your motorcycle's system voltage, which can alert you to a failing alternator or battery. This does stick out quite a bit from the power port, as it's a bit bulky, so that may matter to you. I wish it had a seal where it plugs into the DIN socket, but since it doesn't, I would not leave this plugged into the motorcycle in the rain, though it would probably be Ok to use during a light drizzle or brief rain.

Am Motorrad verwendet. Alles Top! Nur beim abstellen des Bikes abziehen da er sonst weiter Strom aus der Batterie nehmen könnte.

Works a treat. Accurate voltage display, and you can switch it of when not needed on the fly. Paired with quadlock wireless charging dock does a great job on my K1600. Definitely recommend
