Good shorts hard pass on the liner.
First I will start with what I liked. The shorts are nice and light, breathable and stretchy. I normally wear a 32" waist and am 6'2" and I ordered one size up (the large) and they fit great. I would highly recommend getting one size up. I do wish there was more of a cargo short pocket with like a zipper but any pockets are good. These just have the standard two open pockets. The padded short linings are decent padding but have a few issues. They are very breathable but even for large are very constricting on the thigh and also why are they so short. They bunch up into he crotch and make for an unpleasant ride. I wishe they just added another 2-3 inches of material. As they are it feels like very tight briefs I am talking the white tighties of my youth with padding. I would by again for the shorts but the lining i would take a pass hence the 3 stars. Also I never cease to be surprised by people's ignorance. It does say 2 pack and the pack comes with 2 items. It is amazing that we are somehow considered the top of the food chain still.

Get a size larger than the size chart!!!
The Large on the size chart states it could fit a 36-38” waist. My waist falls in between the two usually and these won’t even get close to buttoning.

Great mtn bike pants
These are great! Really comfortable, I wear them around the house without the liner in!I wear some slick skivvies under the liner when I go riding, the liner can tend to bunch or bite in the nether regions if I don’t.

Misleading ad.
Well the shorts are good but all i talked to say the ad is very misleading.Cmon guys.. as says set of 2 mens mtb shorts with padded gel underwear. Not set includes 1 pair of shorts and 1 pair of underwear.Oh it does say it in the description!But bad misleading ad! Guess its my fault for not reading the fine print and trusting the ad header!Lesson learned! Bt

Go with a double botton or an old school button hole.
Not the best of quality. I’ve gotten better for the same price on amazon.Pockets and zippers not great.The solo button doesn’t stay buttoned with any such bend. Won’t be buying again.
