We installed this deadbolt on our side garage door after the previous one, which was a different brand was having battery and wifi connectivity issues. I really like that this one does not require an app to add new codes and that it has the option to use your fingerprint or key to unlock it. The directions for installation were clear and there were no issues. The directions for programming it are a bit overwhelming at first glance, but once you start following the steps it isn't difficult at all. I love the matte black finish we chose, although we now need to get a matching handle. The keypad lights up as well, which is great for accessing it at night and the buttons are large and easy to read, which we also liked.

Exactly as pictured. Comes with instructions for installation and a manual for setting up fingerprints and passcodes. As long as you follow the instructions, you'll be able to install and use all of its functions. Product is versatile so you can choose how you'd like to lock/unlock the lock, options are: with a key, passcode, or fingerprint recognition. The fingerprint option and auto-lock feature are very convenient and works best in my household.

The media could not be loaded. Brinks is a great brand and it shows in this product. It works very well with the keypad, fingerprint, or even the 2 keys included, although I have never carried them since installing this. It's such a great value compared to other costly options and no need for a subscription.I'm so happy I decided on the fingerprint reader option! It's so easy to use and great when your hands are full. Love that you can program multiple combinations and fingerprints. It's easy to add or remove the codes and fingerprints or reset the system to start over again.I was worried about self-installing but found the instructions very easy to follow. I had a question on programming and was able to reach a live, friendly person late on a Sunday through the Brinks 800 number listed in the instructions.Now we don't have to carry keys when we travel! It's the luxury item I didn't realize I needed.

This is a good quality electronic lock. The lock is battery operated on 4 double AAs. The biggest disappointment about this lock is that it does not have an emergency unlock usb port. It does have a set of keys of course, but in my opinion, the whole point of having an electric lock is to not have to worry about keys. If you're using this for a property management or anything like that, even though it does have a low battery indicator, it seems commonplace to have an emergency plug in port. The lock has the ability to accommodate 50 user codes and 50 fingerprints. It seems a little overkill for what it is, as I know I will never need or use anywhere near to 50. It installs like a standard door fixture. If you can install doorknob, you can do this. The lock can be set to auto lock as well. Overall, this is a good quality lock from a name brand, but I wish it had an emergency power port.

Super easy to install. Setup was very simple, but make sure you keep the instructions handy for all the codes you can enter. Feels sturdy with no movement or gaps similar to some cheaper models.

Now that I've received the replacement, containing all required parts, the lock works fine. But the first unit was delivered missing 2 screws and the keys, so wasted a Saturday night trying to replace the old lock.

Installed in under an hour. Was able to use the existing strike plate. very easy to install and program. Matches my brushed nickel lever handle perfectly. The only thing I didn't care for was the fact that the door will lock automatically even if it is left open.

Easy to assemble and to program keypad and fingerprint. Took me 20 minutes to complete the whole setup. Instructions are concise and very clear.
