This is the best product for infants less than 6 month old who are on top up formula feed. Nipple confusion is the term used for child confusing between mother and bottle nipple and finds the bottle easier and hence rejects the mother completely. The nipple for medela bottle is special one which makes child do same effort to suck the milk out of bottle as if it was mother's Brest. The switching between mother and formula is easier. In our case our infant daughter first takes mother feed and than formula to complete the feed from this bottle without any selective approach towards mother or bottle.

I got two bottles with the caps however the Discs that go with the bottle cap we’re missing. There was only one disc that came with it. The bottles are good quality though. However they came with a strong plastic smell that went away only when I washed it with detergent and sterilized it.

Medela products have high quality n reliability. One can buy blindly.

The bottles are good ..but I dunno why the design over the bottle is coming off ...I hope it's an original medela product which I hav ...coz the bottle tht I hav from the breast pump which I had purchased from a store has no change whatsoever in its design!
