Fun kit. Good to have some Lego experience.
I was a bit reluctant to purchase as there were no reviews but I rolled the dice and was pleasantly surprised. The good:The pieces are on par with Lego.Consistent and high quality. The end product looks just as one would hope... like something straight out of Boston Dynamics. The bad:The instructions are thorough but it's easy to miss a step or two along the way as there are often more than one connections in a single pictured step. They try to address this by outlining extra connections in a fine red outline. In other words, as Lego is literally step by step with no margin of error, these instructions are step(s) by step(s) and if you're not paying hyper attention to instructions you'll probably miss something and have to disassemble back to where you erred. One other note:The parts are in numbered bags.Don't panic if you're finishing up a stage and you can't find the piece you need, the needed piece(s) will be in the consecutive bag. (For whatever reason)All in all a fun kit that I would certainly recommend to anyone with a basic understanding of engineering or background in advanced Lego assembly.

A challenge
Yeah! I enjoyed getting to build something cool and unique like a robo dog, so different from what Lego typically offers! But WOW those pieces were stiff!! My fingers HURT after trying to get everything together! I needed to use a pair of pliers at one point to try and get a pipe piece where it needed to go. Instructions at times weren't clear when a piece was getting added. The pliers were the only real hangup I had though. The rest of it was really enjoyable, and again it was really cool to build something so different from what I'm used to!I'm just glad I didn't end up missing a piece that was going to cause issues with the legs moving! That was my big fear after the first few times I almost missed the instructions adding a piece in....Thankfully worked out, and the sweat was worth it for sure 😁

It has a cool factor but..
there are some problems.Issues:1. instructions are not well made.2. missing pieces more than once.3. warped partsOn another subject, it was fun to build despite thinking i was losing my mind trying to find pieces. Playing with the robot was as expected. I am glad that they did include in the charging process an auto cut off. or it could have been that the plug moved and shut off the charging.

good for building and looking, not for playing
What's not to love about a RC dragon that you build yourself? Well, durability when it's moving needs to be much better because mine fell apart too fast when playing with it. Otherwise this kit has a lot going for it. So if you want to build a dragon and move it just a bit - cool, this one will work. But don't plan on it being a full RC experience from a durability standpoint because the blocks don't stay together well enough - or at least not for me and how I drive a dragon...then again, I learned to drive in California so maybe it's my driving!

It took us a very long time to build the robot just to find out that the charger is not working...
We asked for a replacement charger thay told us it will be shipped to us but we never got it.Vary bad quality and even worse serviceNit an honest seller!
