3 of these 4 adapters work just fine. The 4th, though, has a spring-loaded ball that doesn't like to compress easily, or even when substantial effort is applied to it in the course of its normal use. Maybe it'll get better with use. A guy can hope.

I used the smaller ones to adapt a hex style wrench to a 1/4" socket. I needed a very short one and this works beautifully.

The come in handy daily. The shorter one is great for adapting sockets to a 1/4 bit driver. The longer one is great for using sockets with a 1/4 impact driver. Both have been durable so far. Great Value.

Was removing some 10 mm bolts with a small impact screw gun from a water pump thermostat and the longer 1/4 drive 1/4 in socket adapter twisted like a rope Then snapped. Usually an adapter would just . Even though it is only 2" long it was twisted like a candy cane. This was a perfect example of Chineseisum if I ever saw one.
