Yes it can make 16-gallons per concentrated gallon. Mix at 8-oz concentrate to 1-gallon of water and will remove same or more rust as any other. We are the original manufactures of this technology, may other companies buy our solutions. Dilute them and rebrand them as premixed rust removers. That’s why our concentrates are so inexpensive. I hope this helps **Q: can this be applied to remove the rust on a vehicle's frame or is there another product?** A: I do not know for sure if it can be applied on large parts. The directions says to "immerse" the part. I used it to clean the internal (water jacket) part of a Model A engine. I never did try it by applying to a part and letting the part set. It does take some time so you would have to keep the part wet all the time (probably at least a few hours) for it to work. For frame cleaning I used the POR-15 40701 Rust Remover. It worked pretty well on lightly rusted metal. **Q: Does Slight oil & grease effect it?** A: Cleaning the item down to rust only would likely get you the best results for removing the rust. Items look like new, easy to use, other than setting up a soak tank. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Did wonders for old gas tank *by D***S on July 27, 2024* Trying to get an antique car back to running condition, and the gas tank had lots of rust inside. I got rid of the old gas and washed it out as best I good, but there was still lots of rust. Since this makes enough to fill the tank, I thought I'd give it a try. The key I found is that cold water won't work. I filled it up, but after 12 hours, not much had happened. Recommendations were to warm it up a little, so I put a 500 watt halogen work light next to the tank. Once the solution warmed up, it did wonders! Two days later, the solution had turned black as coffee and I couldn't even see the bottom of the tank anymore. Once I got the solution out, all I can say is WOW! It cleaned up the rust beautifully on a 77 year old gas tank. The sender was sitting in it, and the tank was as rusty as the sender.
