Birkenstock Women's Mayari Sandal

I have been converted to Birkenstock for comfort after many years of thinking about buying some. I have always been put off by people saying how uncomfortable they are initially but after having a plate in my foot for arthritis, I have finally bit the bullet, so to speak. These sandals are perfect for me. Yes they took a little wearing in along the edges, but I honestly think this is because I have wide feet and my foot slightly overlaps on the outer edge. I found wearing them in 'a little, often' inside the house is the answer. Eventually the outer edge softened and I now find them so comfortable I would hate to be without them. Be sure to buy them so your feet fit inside the contours at the front and rear of the sandal. Some people would say all the foot to be within the contour....... I wish, but my feet are not made for Birkenstocks to fit me in this way! Yes Birkenstocks can be a little un-feminine but this style for some reason, suits my foot and it looks better on than I could have anticipated. Would I swap them, not in a million years. Would I buy them again, definitely! In fact, think I will look for another pair now :-)

I have wide feet so the fit is a small bit narrower than I would ideally like but it *is* clearly stated that these are a narrow fit so I knew what I was getting. I normally wear a 41 but I feel like I could have gotten away with a 40 if the fit wasn't so narrow. That said, they're still comfortable, and I think the leather will stretch out a bit with time (it's a little snug around the toe). I really love the look and feel of this shoe as they're less bulky looking than the traditional model (although I love those too). One thing that was really great was that they didn't rub at all. I've worn them every day since I got them and I've had no rubbing or hot spots / blisters.

I bought this sandals to have a second pair, since the first pair i bought in white i wear it all the time in the summer months. They are very very confortable. It takes a few wears until your feet adapt to the shoes and after you wont want to wear anything else.I would go for the normal width which is the M, unless you have super narrow feet, then go for the N. The size comes a little bit bigger , i normally use a 36 and i got a 35 and it fits perfect, but they give you the cms so the best is to measure your feet. Very good quality as well.

Comfortable and good quality. Go with every outfit so perfect summer sandals. Annoyingly they constantly let debris in while walking which is why I’ve only given 4*

Very comfy good colour Mocca goed with anything. Was worried about the strap between toes but I do not feel it at all. Very comfy foot bed and just right size. I ordered my ordinary shoe size. Very well packed and delivered within three days. I would like another pair in a different colour. I ware them all day long and they look as good with trousers as skirts. I work in a school so spend a lot of time on my feet and will be wairing them next term.

Gorgeous design. I bought the narrow fit and they are great. Obviously not got a regular fit to compare with so not sure how much difference there is (I just went for the cheaper one to be honest). When they first arrived I thought they were going to be massive but as soon as I did the straps up they seems to magically shrink to fit my feet and are a lovely secure fit. I wore them for a couple days and they softened up quickly. Feet briefly felt a bit tender - but they had also just emerged from winter and were a little bit in shock to be in sandal-like footwear! Lovely quality pair of shoes and have had all my friends comment on how nice they look. Happy customer!

i had heard other people say how wonderfully comfortable these were, so i went and purchased a pair. They are really comfortable and I have worn them loads. They support the foot really well and it feels like you are walking on air. Durable and well made so should last for a while. Would definitely buy another pair. Well worth it.

It's been a while since I had a pair of Birkenstocks, but when my feet began to hurt all the time due to closed toes and super tight insteps on even my "comfy" walking shoes, I realized I had to go back. The first day with a pair of Birkenstocks, you're never quite sure if it's going to work out. The sole seems to push your foot in odd directions and the fit seems weird. But... give it a day. Walk around. The beauty of this shoe is the fact that it becomes morphed to your foot in a way no other can. Within a couple days, they're the most comfortable shoes you could own, with great support all around. The Golden Brown color is actually a little... "golden" with a slight shimmer. But I like these are more delicate than the Fred Flinstone design of other Birkenstocks!

Super cute style of Birkenstocks. My usual size in Birks fits perfectly, and the leather is very soft. The toe piece was a little uncomfortable at first, but it was fine after some adjusting and wearing for a bit. The Antique Lace is a beautiful, pearlized cream color -- not white. I love it since it's something a little different but will go with so many outfits this spring and summer.

These shoes are NOT comfortable at first. In fact, at first i HATED them, I thought my feet would fall off, my arches ached, my ankles hurt, I thought I was getting blisters all over my heels...I then remembered why I purchased them in the first place, my sister has a pair and I've worn them from time to time and they are incredibly comfortable. After the first weekend, I thought they would end up in the back of my closet because they were seriously SO uncomfortable. But I talked to my sister and she reassured me that if I broke them in I would fall in love, and i did. I recommend working on the cork with your hands a bit, bending the soles back and forth to get them a bit worn in, then wear them as often as you can for as long as you can but take them off when they get really painful, after about 3-4 days of discomfort you will soon discover your new favorite shoes. I have heard some people recommend wearing them when you get out of the shower and your feet are slightly damp, apparently this can help break them in, I will be trying that next summer with my next pair!

He adquirido recientemente estas sandalias, el pedido perfecto, tardó 1 día en llegar cuando el tiempo estimado que me dieron eran 1 semana. De momento no las he podido probar en largas caminatas pero se ven de muy buena calidad, la talla perfecta, pedí la horma estrecha. Se adaptan perfectamente a la forma del pie y sujetan bien. El diseño es bastante bonito para el tipo de sandalia que es y el uso que se le va a dar (viajes), no resulta basto.
