Great shock
I’ve used this several times on my above-ground pool and it works well. It helps clear the water up quickly and is easy to use. Always keep a few bags on hand during pool season.

The price was great. I was skeptical about purchasing this item for my pool. Ive been using it now for 6 months. Excellent product.

Works, needs 2 bags more effectively
Good but 1 bag is enough, not even "upto" 12,000gallon. I use 1 bag for 10,000g pool, not enough then next day (after 24hrs) I added 1 more bag. It works! Still, there is a combination of chemicals to make your pool perfectly, not just shock xtra blue itself. Recommended!

Good product, stabilized form of "chlorine" , has upside and downside but i like it. See video.
i chose this over sodium hypochlorite shock for my swimming pool. Sodium dichloro-s-triazinetrione (often called "Dichlor" or simply "granular chlorine") is a stabilized, fast-dissolving, and pH-neutral chlorine sanitizer (55-63% available chlorine) designed for maintaining sanitization levels in swimming pools, hot tubs, and spas. It is highly effective because it contains cyanuric acid (CYA), which protects the chlorine from sun degradation, making it more long-lasting than un stabilized liquid bleach. I have used this in "tablets" used in my pool and have not had an issue with "chlorine lock" but do monitor for that. It's granular, you distribute with the pool running, do not put into the feeder. It has a higher chemical content that regular bleach, i like the 12 bag size of this offering and have used it before. There is not an ideal solution and i try to keep the chemicals balanced so i am not shocking the pool weekly.

Missing some of the packages
I like this product very much. I just opened today 6/25/26 this purchase. To my surprise one of the boxes only had 11 packages of the product and not the 12 not paid for. Five star is for the product not the shortage of it. How do I go about getting the other package?
