Renogy 28in Adjustable Solar Panel Mount Brackets, with Foldable Tilt Legs on Any Flat Surface for RV, Roof, Boat, Any Off-Grid Systems

These brackets are an absolute must-have for any solar enthusiast, no question. The metal is very nice, light but insanely strong, and brushed smooth and coated to prevent rust. Putting these together was really easy, all the hardware is included, it took maybe 10 minutes tops. I love that these can fit big 100 watt panels sideways, or smaller ones standing up, and bolt down to a roof, floor or even the side of a wall- anywhere you need them to go! The handy knobs make adjusting the angle very easy, though you do have to carefully screw the knobs back through the washers and hex nuts on the reverse side when doing adjustments. I tried three different angles and measured them with my voltmeter until I was sure I had the panels adjusted perfectly, the degree of angle these offer is fantastic. The only challenge I had was that one of my panels has a *very* thin frame, with almost no room for the bolts to mount it to fit. I had to hold the hex nut the bolt goes through in place underneath the frame edge with a pair of pliers, then carefully screw the bolt down through the hole into it from the top, with both washers and spacer on the top side to hold the bolt out a little so it couldn't screw down into the panel surface itself. On my panel with a decent-sized frame width it was super easy, and on the really thin-framed one still very doable, so I can't imagine this not working with virtually any panel size or type, if you are willing to make adjustments. These brackets are really necessary to get the most from your solar setup, they offer so much stability and ease of adjustment. I can't believe how long I put off getting them, now that I have them I can't imagine doing without. So useful, easy to adjust, and really excellent quality. I'll be bolting them up in a few weeks when everything else for my new installation arrives, but really these make pretty great standalone brackets too, in the meantime. I'm so pleased with these I've gone back and ordered two more- no complaints at all. A true 5-star product!!

Installed this racking system on a Renogy 195W Bifacial panel with ease. The brackets allowed me to install on my fence at an angle. Make sure to get large bolts for the surface attachment as it did not come included with the brackets. The brackets are strong and allow angle adjustment for optimal power output throughout the year. Decided to buy a second set for a another panel I decided to add to my array. My product improvement recommendation is that they need to include larger arms to provide more adjustability an angles in various installation solutions. Well made product with multiple applications.

These are not super sturdy out of the box, but they were on sale and in my area cheaper than buying angle irons and making my own. I simply added a wood furring strip or two going across the bottom. It was leftover scrap wood but also cheap if you have to buy and that made it very sturdy. Otherwise, it works well and is functional to mount the solar panels on. A perfect fit and holds them will. Also the brackets are not heavy so they don't add much weight if you move them around. The solar panel mounted on the brackets are 99% of the weight.

The brackets work great. Hold the solar panels at the right position. Easy to assemble and the angle is adjustable. Don't add a lot of weight to the panel. I use a brick on the bottom to assure they don't fall over in the wind.

The solar panel mount is great. However Amazon sold this as "Used-MINT" and all the hardware was just thrown loose in the box no bag and some was missing.

It is very heavy duty item. Very well built. Make sure you have compatible solar panel for this unit or you may need to make modifications or it may just not work for you at all. Thickness and width has to match the hardware. The U clamp that is included with the unit is larger and you won’t be able to secure it on any post without some modifications.

This is designed and built well for a stationary situation or perhaps in situations where you would only need to make adjustments every few months. The aluminum bracket material is excellent however the tilt adjustment hardware and ease of adjustment is mediocre at best. We purchased for use on a small RV with a 200W panel and assembled it in preparation for installation. We decided to try to make a tilt adjustment while still on the floor in our living room. What a PITA ! Extremely cumbersome, easy to lose multiple nuts and washers in the process, don't believe hardware would hold up to frequent adjustments. The pain of making adjustments is not worth the minor possible increase efficiency in power production. FYI, we really do like our multiple Renogy panels but this bracket is not well suited for multiple adjustments, particularly on the roof of a RV. We sent it back.

These brackets were easy to install and work exactly as described.

Have this on my cars canopy. carries a 170 watt panel that gives me far more solar hours with the adjustable mount angle.
