KitchenAid W11192794 Mixer Attachment Gear Hub Kit

Replaced my oem gears with this after I tried using a meat grinder attachment that ground my gears instead. Installation was easy after a YouTube tutorial. Make sure to buy new mixer grease as well. Quality, fit, and functionality were all as expected.

My trusty KitchenAid stand mixer's attachment hub had stopped working, and I was faced with an expensive repair or replacement. After wearing out the gears in my stand mixer I needed to repair it. These parts fit perfectly and got my mixer up and running again. I would recommend these to anyone who needs to repair their stand mixer.

I ordered this gear set to try and keep my 30 year old mixer going. It was a pretty straight forward repair. I am quite mechanically inclined and it only took me about 30 minutes to complete the repair. I have no doubt that a novice could replace these gears with a little help from YouTube. The gears were in good shape and heavier than I was expecting. once installed in the mixer, they engaged with each other quite nicely. I closed up the mixer and put it to use. We have now gone through the holiday season and used it ALOT! It is still working just as one would hope. Normally I would order again just to have some spare parts on hand, but these were of such good quality I don't think I will ever have to replace them!!

Given the work to tear down the mixer I am very disappointed in this lasting only 18 months in light/moderate use. The original gear lasted almost 10 years. Kitchen Aid went to cheaper materials. Might as well buy a cheap Chinese knock off. No durability and poor value.

The replacement was fairly straightforward for a YouTube Certified Mechanic. It seems to work okay. It's great to find the right parts!

I will install this kit today in my kitchenaid mixer. The description is unclear but this replaces both gears 9703905 and 9703907. Both of these gears are the same price as the single gear from other sellers so I am worried a little about durability but only time will tell
