The knife is my new favorite, perfect for filleting my fish. It's got a long thin blade, super sharpness, and the weight of the knife is in the handle, making it easier to make fine cuts with the blade. I have sizd 7.5-8 hands, and the grip size is perfect. It's not so good if you have small hands. Bonus, it comes in a wonderful box inside a box, with instructions on care and sharpening. Someone really thought things through before making this great knife. The only surprise is that I'd have paid more for it, if I knew in advance it was this well suited for fish. It's currently about $28 as a special price, and will go up as more people learn about it. I'll check out their other knives!

Love the weight and balance of this knife. Bought it for trimming chicken quarters. The knife is super sharp and feels great in my hand. The quality is right up there with the 100 dollar knifes. Nice that the knife came with a sheaf. The box is nice enough to store the knife in it.

Super sharp still even after cleaning triggerfish

This knife is the crown jewel of my little kitchen. It comes in a black box, within a black box! The grip is smooth and comfortable in hand, the entire knife is gorgeous. This is my first Cutluxe purchase, there will be more. I buy salmon trim because it's inexpensive and I don't care what it looks like. Buying this way means a lot of irregular pieces, and that's where this knife shines. Whether ultra thin or big and chunky, these pieces are easily made a uniform preference, THIN. The blade tip is easily maneuvered and cuts through flesh like....BUTTER. I didn't believe it would be this sharp. I'm committed to maintaining this knife over time and use. Box inserts and their website gives instructions and reasons for each sharpening choice. I like that. The overall quality of the product, the protective sleeve and box, along with the clear care guides makes this a winner in my book.

It was incredibly sharp, with a great handle texture and weight, plus a nice sheath and a low price. It's perfect fillet knife for me.
