Excellent helmet for the $$
5 star for the price and welding few times a month this is perfect. For every day use definitely get a higher quality one. Once I spent like an hour getting the headgear on right because it was put on funky and adjusted it to fit my head it I was impressed! More compact than HF one, much better optics, much better at not fogging up, better coverage and protection around face, I really like the graphics , it’s an awesome helmet for the money. Time will tell on durability but first day using it I will say it’s a huge upgrade!

It'll work...
Had an issue with the heagear in the helmet, but read instructions, took a look at what all they're made up of, and once that was done, I could make adjustments like I had it for years... There are enough adjustments so you can wear a cap underneath, and I was able to quickly adjust the tilt and closer to the window... Not bad... There was a review, I recall, that said something about the sheild not being too thick... Well, you're not wearing it to stop a bullet, or baseball... It is simply there as a shield from bright light... It is really good for the job it is supposed to do, and how it is made makes it lighter, as well, and not a strain on your head...

Best bang for your buck
Absolutely amazing helmet for the beginner/home welder, the auto darkening works very well, I love the design on the side, it’s very durable and the size fits my big head wonderfully , the adjustment keep the lens in front of your face perfect

My Lincoln Viking 1840adf ($350) hood gave up the ghost so I picked this hood till I made up my mind what I wanted to replace it with. Holy cow, I can't believe how good this thing is and how little it cost. The head gear is flimsy but more comfortable than my Viking. Fit and finish is good. The color of the lense is one thing that just blew me away. You get a much more true view of the colors you're seeing. It's not just green or just gold. I've never used a hood this good before. For 33 bucks! It seems too good to be true. I'll be very interested to see how long it lasts.

Cant go wrong for the price point
Decent helmet for the price Auto dimming works great no need to keep lifting helmet to see what your doing plenty of adjustments so you can get a comfortable fit
