Amazing figure and awesome articulation I hope they do a White Phoenix of the Crown soon

What can I say about this figure? I mean, you've seen it, it's incredible! And it looks even better up close and in your hand. This is the Phoenix action figure we've all wanted since we were kids! Ok, enough fanboying, on to an actual review. The flame pieces themselves interlock in a really weird way that took me numerous tries to get right. I literally sat here watching tv playing with them till I was finally able to slot them together and get the base seated in place. The Phoenix herself (itself?) only has one point of articulation, a head that turns. Some sort of movement in the wings would have been really cool, but probably more expensive, so here we are. Now on to Jean Grey herself. I feel like we've seen this basic sculpt of her before, but that's ok, because now we have this awesome base to go with it. She comes with a more Phoenix-ed out head and some extra hands. She's quite posable, though you have to position her juuuuuussssttttt right in the flame base to get her to stand up on her own. While it's not perfect, I absolutely recommend picking this up if you're an X-Men fan, or a Marvel head in general.

Marvel Legends are the best action figures in the toy business. This particular one is more ornamental that action.

product was great it just got delayed and ended up coming a whole week later than what was expected.

I had my fingers crossed for this figure. Lately Hasbro hasn’t been super impressive, reusing the same sculpts over and over with repaints, shoddy paint jobs etc. but this figure looks beautiful. It’s completely met my high expectation. She has double jointed AND pinless joints at the elbow and knees, a joint at the ab crunch which I’ve never even seen on a female figure before, the paint job is spot on, especially on the Phoenix emblem, which really pops. Both head sculpts are pretty (especially the one with the eyes whited out), and the Phoenix force… stunning! I was afraid it would be much smaller than pictures but it was perfectly sized, great sculpt work and just awesome. The only negative thing I’ve seen or heard is that if you assemble the base and plug in the clear orange piece you won’t be able to get it back out without breaking it. So, I didn’t plug it in and honestly it makes no difference. I haven’t experienced that myself. Great figure!

Best Jean Grey Phoenix in Marvel Legends line. Some figures go up in price really fast so i'm glad i preordered this one.
