High quality!
This thing is a little on the pricy side but it feels REALLY well built. I used it outside to run temperature based Apple HomeKit automations.

Failed from 6 months intended use; Eve refused to assist
Worked fine for about six months, kept it on my balcony per instructions. Then it stopped connecting. I noticed a water bubble inside the display, clearly water had gotten inside causing the connection to fail. This should not happen on a product designed to be kept outside. I contacted Eve customer service in Germany, they acknowledged it was a 'faulty unit' however they claim there is nothing they can do since I purchased the product from Amazon.

Small, nice looking BUT….
We use them in each room, garage, outside and fridge and freezer. Love the app. However, issue of updates not being done and it doesn’t read the battery give a false reading of battery need to be replace and no reading until updates pushed threw.

Works perfectly
Does exactly what I want. Keeps records. Integrates with my Apple Home. No connection problems whatsoever.

UPDATED: Keeps reporting low battery even after replacing battery. Avoid!
Revising original 1-star review. After a few weeks, the issue subsided and the device has been consistently staying connected. Maybe a firmware update pushed? In any event, after giving it a chance, I'm satisfied. ----------------------- First let me say I have multiple Thread routers throughout my home and 1 quite close to the new Eve Weather. Despite this, the Eve Weather lasted a couple of days on the battery it shipped with before reporting "low battery" and displaying "32°F" and "0% humidity" in the Eve app (the display on the device itself correctly reported the temperature and humidity). Replaced the battery with a fresh one, worked fine for a couple of days, and now it's back to reporting "low battery...32°F...0%." My first generation Eve Weather (which this device replaced) worked fine until it went dead after a few years of use. I'm a loyal Eve customer with a number of their products, but the new Eve Weather is clearly not ready for "prime time." Returning this device.

Not as waterproof as suspected.
Difficult to stay paired to my Homey Pro hub; then when it rained on it for the first time it died despite the IPX4 rating.

Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy
I wanted a temperature and humidity sensor for my porch that would connect to my Apple Home. And that’s what it did. Things I like, 1) no account needed to setup, 2) all I had to do was click add accessory within Apple Home and scan the sticker, 3) it works on Matter. One small con: it’s automatically setup for Celsius and I needed the Eve app to change it to Fahrenheit.

Horrible! Does not connect to anything.
Received the device today. After unpacking the device, I noticed that it arrived a dead battery. So, I put more money into this and purchased a new one. The the device refuses to pair with Amazon or Apple HomeKit. The degrees is in celsius and I cant change it to Fahrenheit until it is paired. Sending back. A waste of time and money.

Inaccurate and poor display
I'm very disappointed in this device - the display is mostly unreadable (no backlight and very poor contrast even with new/full battery) though I'm not too concerned about that as I was going to use this outdoors for remote reading. The main problem is that the device is inaccurate. it is off by 0.3C (the device reads 0.3C higher than the actual temperature) which is a lot of error for such an expensive temperature/humidity sensor. I contacted the manufacturer and they said this is acceptable and within spec, and that there is no way to calibrate the device, or compensate in the app/etc for the error. This is a big issue when trying to detect when it reaches freezing outside. I have several other far cheaper temperature sensors that are all far more accurate than this one. The humidity value reads correctly though. I would definitely not recommend this device (my return window has unfortunately closed), it is not very accurate (esp for the price) and the display is essentially unusable, even in bright sunlight.

Battery died in 5 days...
Used it for 5 days, at the low power settings, and it already says I need to change the battery. AND it doesn't take a rechargeable battery, but a disposable battery. Do no recommend until they update to a better version.
