- Use this hard working balm anytime you need to soothe and moisturise rough, dry or chapped skin. Our Moonbeam body balm shimmer comes from all natural cosmetic grade mineral Mica. We have added enough of the finest Silver Sparkle mica to give the most subtle and elegant shimmer to your skin.
- Shea butter is a skin superfood. It has anti-microbial properties and the anti-inflammatory properties of cinnamic acid. Vitamin E and A to strengthen and repair the skin. Provides slight UV protection (about SPF 6), due to caffeic acid. Linoleic acid helps seal in moisture. Cocoa butter is rich in the antioxidant vitamin E, offering protection from free radical damage from environmental pollutants. Acts as a barrier on the skin, has palmitic acid, which is protective and locks in moisture.
- Capric Triglycerides (Fractionated Coconut Oil) are used for their ability to form a protective barrier to lock in moisture, soften and condition hair and skin. With strong antimicrobial properties, coconut oil protects against infections and its Vitamin E content helps prevent premature ageing, while its small molecular structure ensures the potent properties penetrate deeply into the skin and hair follicle for maximum benefits.
- Both Lavender and Tea Tree essential oils are antiseptic and anti-inflammatory which makes them an ideal ingredient in your skin and hair routine.
- Coloured Micas are fine pigment-coated mica powders. We do not use Cosmetic grade glitters as they are pigment or dye coated plastic flakes and therefore may not comply with the Microbead Ban.
