Dippity Do - Girls with Curls Leave-In Curl Defining Cream, - 4.2 Ounce Tube

I have 2C curls and this is my holy grail product. I have even tried expensive hair gel ($38 a bottle??? Uh no thanks) but for some reason my hair always turns out the best with THIS product. They used to sell it at Walgreens, but walgreens stopped carrying it online nor in-stores, and I found some article saying the company Dippity-Do had been sold, so i got worried they were going to discontinue the product! I tried 20 other different hair products in search of something that would work just as well for my curls. I ended up with some absolute hair fails and a few okay products but I usually ended up having to use multiple products in order to achieve the look that this gel did all by itself. So then I found this started being sold on amazon (it wasn’t sold on here last year, I checked) and I was so incredibly happy. It may seem silly that I was overjoyed to find that I could get my hair product easily again, because for a while I had tried ordering it from Canada after Walgreens discontinued it. But if you have curly hair, you will know the absolute struggle that comes with it, until you find your holy grail product, that is. I’m not very religious, but I’d still like to thank GOD that this product exists and is now sold on amazon. Please, dippity-do, never stop making this product!! 😭💖

I am definitely a wavy... high porosity, fine, type 2b/2c hair. This is absolutely my favorite curl cream. I use it almost every wash day, unless I’m trying a different product. For ME, I’d put this on the list of my personal holy grails. Also, look how cute it is!!UPDATE!!!! This curl cream is NOT Curly Girl Method friendly. It contains dimethicone (silicone). It is definitely a great product, but throughout time I noticed I needed to clarify way too often. The mousse, however, is great, and is also free of sulfates, silicones, etc etc etc.

Not enough curl defining happening for my hair type (low porosity 2c/3a) with this product. I did like the consistency of the product as it was towards the thinner side and made application easier. But it seemed like I went through half the bottle by my third time using it (I do have waist long hair but no way am I heavy handed when disbursing). A note on the fragrance and a plus is it was not an overpowering scent and was pleasant enough for me.

For me it was super dry...I was expecting magic as I always am with these products marketed towards mixed women with curly hair....fail absolute fail...I bought three other dipitydo products I will try using all at the same time to see if it helps...for me I'd never buy again!

I purchased this and the curl cream and gel. A big win for my curls. Kept the frizz under controll even in Mexico for vacation. I will be buying this very affordable product again! Its curly girl method approved!!!

This brand is awesome. I've been trying to find more affordable products for my 3C curls. This product and the gel are now firmly in my spring/summer routine. I live in the southern US for weather reference.This cream is a watery, runny consistency. It drips out of the tube when you open the container. This is very light, yet hydrating. My hair felt very nice with this product after washing and conditioning. I felt like it melted into my hair and gave it that "slip." It smells very nice and goes well with the gel. It dries well and doesn't weigh hair down. I'm happier with this product than I was with many salon brands. I'm so surprised how happy I am with this purchase.I will reccomend this product to my friends and family who have any kind of textured hair. Great for wavy and curly hair. I haven't been excited to find a new brand in a long time, but this is worth the praise! I feel that for the price it's definitely worth trying.

I have spent a lot of money trying to find the right product to make my frizzy curly hair look half way decent and not like a bird’s nest. It is very humid where I live and this product with a bit of gel, controls the curls. You can’t beat the price.

I have fine, wavy/curly hair. The right product will give my hair lots of definition… this is not it. This might work great for someone who has thick curly hair. I don’t know if it would enhance your curls but I do think it may reduce frizz. It seems a bit overpriced on Amazon. It might be worth trying if you can find it somewhere else for less. I definitely do not recommend this for someone with fine textured hair looking to add definition to your waves or curls.

Too sticky and leaves hair crunchy. If you like it it is cheaper at Walmart.

Love this curl cream. I have fine, thin hair, so i need something not too heavy. This works excellent, and has a great smell.Be aware if you CG it does have dimethicone as an ingredient. I don't mind this, but I know that others do.
