Cat Self Groomer, Scratching Post & Interactive Toys - Arch Scratcher with Brush for Grooming & Shedding, Scratch Pad, and Catnip

My cats LOVE this thing. I'm always a bit worried buying anything specifically for my cats as they are finicky and would rather play in the box it came in or in our laundry hamper. But I spread a bit of catnip on the bottom and sprinkled over the top of the arch and they all LOVE it. As another reviewer said, the material is kind of reminiscent of an artificial Christmas tree and it's the perfect texture for our cats to love. My only complaint is the it comes in two pieces. the base and the arch and you have to push them together and no matter how much you think it's securely attached if your cat attacks it with the same gusto as mine, one (or both) of the ends will pop out and you'll be once again stuck with two pieces. I fixed this with a bit of superglue added to the hole before putting in the end of the arch and that seems to have fixed this pesky problem. other than that - this is the perfect cat toy/groomer and I'd definitely recommend it!!

We bought this arch toy for my 11.5 year old cat and he absolutely loves it! At first we put it on the bed for him and he attacked it so hard that it came out of the platform. The reason for 4.5 stars is because it doesn’t stay in the holes once put in. Maybe I’ll glue it on the sides so it stays. Other than that, it is great quality! Nice big bristles and a sturdy platform. The nip that comes with it could be better quality but still got my boy stoned xD as a nip dealer it’s like comparing California kush to mid grade shake. My cat likes this a lot! He is timid and was afraid of it at first, but I put some of the catnip on it and a few of his favorite treats to entice him and show it was a good thing. I also rubbed my hands along the bristles and scratched the carpet on the base with my fingers a few times to catch his attention and show him what to do. Now he can be found relaxing on the base, rubbing his face and chin on the bristles, and going under the arch to brush his back and tail at any given time throughout the day. He has had some minor flaking from dry skin, but being able to groom himself using this product even when I'm not home has helped. I do like the lightweight design if it, as well as the skid proof bottom, but since the base isn't very thick, the arch doesn't secure into it very well and kept popping out. I added some E6000 adhesive onto the prongs, pushed them into the holes in the base and let it dry for a day before giving back to my cat, and we've had no problem since. For the price, this was a minor issue that has a very quick and simple solution. I don't know how long this will last, but if it's at least 2 years, I would be willing to buy this same product again.

This is a nice addition to my cats' toys, but it needs some improvements. The base is too light. My three cats would try to use this self groomer but it kept falling over and the arch would constantly pop out of the base. I drilled the holes completely thru the base and secured the arch by spreading out the wires. Also, I made a larger base with 1/2inch plywood and added a 10lb weight to keep it in place. They still did not use it as much. The brush bristles are too long and soft and the cats did not like it as much. I used a scissors and cut the bristles in half so they are stiff, now all the cats use it regularly and would jostle one another to use it. So I bought a second one and made the same modifications, to keep the peace. Although the cats are brushed out every days, they still like to use the arches. You have to regularly vacuum or use a slicker to remove the cat fur that builds up in the bristles.

They started rubbing all over it before I could even get my phone out. The Aiko box came highly damaged (see in video). But the product was perfectly fine so I couldn't care less. Very easily tipped over so I'll probably attach it to a heavy piece of wood. It also came with a little baggie of catnip, which I haven't even touched yet. My cats love it so im highly satisfied with my purchase

One of my cats rubs against the walls, rolls on the carpet and rub against people to divest herself of her hair. The other cat wants her head and hears scratched but not scratched all over. This cat arch allows the cats to scratch their heads and rub off their fur on it rather than on me! One has gone through it a few times and is just beginning to realize the usefulness of it. Like a scratching pole, cats need to be introduced to new things (this product includes catnip but I prefer not to use it) so I have spent time with each cat making it fun

I got this for one of my cats who had a few teeth pulled some years ago. Sometimes she rubs her face against the corners of chair and table legs to relieve some aching in her gums, and I got this to help with that gum ache. On top of rubbing her face, she also loves to use it to groom. Downside is that the brush pops out every so often, but its easy to pop back in.

I have two very picky cats (when it comes to toys). I barely had this out of the box before Millie started using it. I swear, Millie has toys that I got 2 years ago that she has JUST started using, so for her to play with this right away was a miracle. It is very appropriately sized for my 8 and 12 pound cats, but seems big enough that a real chonky boi could use it also! Some of the other similar items seemed way too small but this was perfect! The ONLY complaint I have is that Millie rubs her head on it so hard that she has been able to separate the arch from the base a few times, but it literally takes 1 second to put it back together. I know it is not part of the instructions, but I'm sure a few drops of crazy glue would eliminate the issue also!

This arch-style scratcher has been a hit in my house. My cat went straight to the self-grooming brush and started rubbing against it right away. The bristles are firm enough to remove loose hair but still gentle, and it’s really helped with shedding. The scratching base gives her a good place to stretch her claws, and the attached toys keep her entertained longer than I expected. The only downside is that the base isn’t very heavy, so it can slide around a bit when she gets excited and really goes at it. I just put it against a wall to keep it steady, and that solved the issue for us. Overall, it’s fun, useful, and something my cat actually uses daily. If you have a cat that loves rubbing on corners or brushing against furniture, this is a great option.

Brought this product for my cats outdoor enclosure, had the perfect spot for it. She loves it and means that there is a little less fur in the house which makes it cleaner and healthier.

Not a bad product but my cats didn't really take to it.

My cat is hard to please. She seems to enjoy playing with this even though she hasn't used it as a scratcher yet, which is funny. I am very happy anyway as she is enjoying it so much
