Thule Chariot Infant Sling, Padded, Lateral Support, Maximum Stability

A must for when baby is unable to sit up on their own. Wish we’d bought this earlier so we could have used the stroller even before baby could hold their head up. It’s recommended to use up to 9 months of age, but we kept baby in this until 12 months because baby’s head was better supported when they fell asleep during a walk/run.

This item clips on super easy and my baby has even fallen asleep in it during bike rides! Be mindful that this is super padded so it’s insulated, my little guy gets very hot in it quickly. If your baby is already on the larger side, I think I would skip it as I’m not sure how long our baby will fit in it as it can’t be super wide in order to accommodate another child next to it.

I didn’t think the upgrade would be that significant from the last generation of sling. But this new sling has way better support and cushion especially for young babies and newborns. The improvements are note worthy. The only change that could be hard for some is loss of ventilation on the sides of the sling. But I don’t even care with the increased support.

We had an older chariot cheetah xt2, so we had to use extra strength zip ties to connect it to the frame. It worked well and held baby well with lots of cushion. We were able to connect two of the clips on the infant sling to the lap belt in the stroller, but used zip ties for the top and bottom clips (4 total) to connect it to the top and bottom frame. We used zip ties that were rated for 200lbs just for overkill. We have a double chariot. With this insert, the other seat is quite snug for our 28lb toddler. (Granted, she’s feisty and doesn’t share elbow room well)

This thing is dope. Put my 1 month old in it. Falls right to sleep as long as we are moving. Would recommend

Works great but it's really hard to install

3 month old rode in a jogging Thule with this adaptor on a road trip with multiple-hour long walks with no issue. Appears to be comfortable. He slept in it frequently.

Been using it for 2 months now. My baby sits very comfortably in it and loves the ride. Started using it when she was 1 month old. Lots of support and very secure.
