Good product
It looks and functions exactly as expected. It solves the problem I had with the counter always being wet from turning the faucet on and off. The grey matches the veining of my quartzite counters beautifully. Soaks up the water and dries within a minute or two. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that the two pieces get moved when bumped. I solved it by placing items on both sides to keep it in places. For the most part that solves the problem. I don’t know how the design could be improved though because my faucet wouldn’t fit through the hole if it were a one piece bar.

Faucet mat
I absolutely love this stone faucet mat! It looks sleek and modern, and the light gray color goes perfectly with my kitchen . I really like the solid, sturdy feel and the fact that it has a cutout that fits nicely around the faucet. It absorbs water quickly and helps keep the area around my sink clean and dry instead of leaving puddles everywhere. The included silicone pads also help keep it from sliding around. It’s a simple upgrade, but it makes such a difference! Definitely happy with this purchase.

Absorbent Physics Work, But the Grooves and Gaps Are Total Flops
The saga of testing porous rocks continues! I picked up this Eormoe Diatomite Faucet Mat for $16.56 hoping it would act as a sleek splash guard to keep puddles from forming around the base of my faucet. While it successfully drinks up water, the structural design choices completely ruin the day-to-day experience. Materials & Construction: Much like the larger dish mats, this is made from compressed diatomaceous earth blended with cement and natural plant fibers for structural stability. Unlike completely flat slabs, the topside features deeply carved u-shaped ridges designed to channel splashing water into the stone. It features a pre-cut 2.5-inch center ring split down the middle so you can slide it directly around a pre-installed kitchen faucet base. The Breakdown: • The Pros (It Absorbs Fine): On a purely functional level, it does dry out fast. Splashes disappear into the material within a couple of minutes instead of pooling on top of your granite or marble. It acts as a decent dry dock for a sponge or a tiny bottle of hand soap. • The Cons (The Grooves from Hell): I absolutely hate the carved grooves. Compared to the smooth stone mats I’ve used before, this contoured texture significantly cuts down on overall drying efficiency. Worse yet, because it is surrounding a messy sink area, soap scum and grime slide right into those channels—and it absolutely does not clean off. It permanently stains, turning an aesthetic upgrade into a gritty eyesore. • The Loose Ring Problem: The pre-cut center ring does not fit tight around the faucet stem. I originally thought a slight gap wouldn’t matter much, but it definitely does. Splashing water completely bypasses the protective stone, running right down through the open gap and soaking the exact area on the countertop this mat was supposed to protect. How the Price Stacks Up: At $16.56, it sits right in the entry-level price pool for standard 15-to-16-inch stone faucet guards, which generally range between $14 and $25. While it doesn't break the bank, the structural design oversights make it feel like a waste of sixteen bucks. The Verdict: If you have a faucet base that matches the 2.5-inch diameter hole perfectly and you never drop soap or dirty water into the ridges, it functions exactly as intended. But if your faucet is slightly thinner and you value a clean, low-maintenance countertop, these carved grooves and wide gaps are going to drive you absolutely crazy

Coolest product. Would purchase again!
Kinda shocked this product doesn’t have 5 stars. I was influenced (actually by an influencer) to buy this product. She posted about it & I thought “wow, this could solve all my problems” but then was a little scared when I read the reviews. Decided to take a chance anyways & I’m so glad I did!! I bought the 24” white. It looks sooo good and truly did solve all my problems (at my kitchen sink anyways) 😂 I didn’t realize when I purchased that it would actually absorb any water that dropped on it. That was a trip. But yeah 10/10 would purchase again!
