This cleanser not only cleanses and even tones your skin, it can remove your makeup, too--even heavy and oily cosmetics. Three steps in one product--that's such a time saver! I don't wear makeup every day, so that isn't such a big deal to me, but I have enjoyed this cleanser, nonetheless. It also helps calm redness, especially areas around pimples or the site of recent pimples, and helps balance oil production, which is why I wish I'd had this stuff in college. One bummer about this product for me, however, is that it isn't recommended to be used in conjunction with a retinol product. I was a little skeptical at first, as I don't like it when my cleansers leave a residue, but a toner is literally residue, in a sense, left on your skin so I was curious how this would work on me. Overall it felt fine - like a hydrating cleanser. I don't think it removed my sunscreen as well as my oil cleanser does but I have a pretty tough waterproof sunscreen so I'm not shocked. But for every day use, esp if you have dry skin, I think this is great!
