Single Is Not A Curse [Gaskins Jr, Tony A] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Single Is Not A Curse Review: Highly recommend this book... - This book is a powerful tool to help people reliaze their personal potential as well as raise the standard in their personal relationships. We attract what we are and yearn for what we're not, Single is not a Curse, helps us to become what we desire and causes us to begin attracting what we yearn for. Embracing singleness in this manner is beneficial, its not complacency, its motivation. Most books want you to close your eyes in singleness and hope for a positive outcome, this book makes singleness a verb and pushes u to develop as you embrace the single season in life. I highly recommend this book, especially for those that are serious about their lives and want to conquer their dreams. Review: Quick but necessary read! - I read this book in two days. I could have finished it in one if I didn't have other things that had to be done. This was not what I expected at all. I thought it would be a bunch of touchy feely love yourself advice. Tony gives real examples to show you perspective and even talks about his relationship with his wife which is inspirational. There was nothing new about this book but all the perfect reminders of what you should do while single. Take your time to improve yourself and spend your time wisely. Don't just sit back waiting for some dude to show up. The biggest "aha" for me was the question asking am I ready should he show up tomorrow (paraphrasing of course)? The honest answer is no and now the work begins. When I'm ready, he'll show up and if he doesn't...well that's alright too.

Read this if you are single and want to be married
This book is life changing; period! This book is really everything that I need as a single woman that desires to be married. It gives me practical yet powerful advice on what to do while im single and how to begin loving and branding myself. It shows me how to become what I want to attract! This information will work if you apply it. I truly believe this.. He also gives different scenarios in relationships that are very helpful.. This is a must read for every single person and also if you are in a relationship.. This is not information you have probably heard before. It goes against the grain of being average. This is not a book for someone that wants to have a mediocre life. Tony Gaskins is the truth!

Practical Wisdom for Both Men and Women
Single is Not a Curse serves as a handbook for singles on how to build successful relationships, while also appreciating their singleness. Through a series of common sense lessons, the reader is given helpful tips on overcoming obstacles that hinder the ability to have a healthy relationship. As I've seen the author quote on social media: "common sense is not common!" So, this book is greatly needed. I'm sure I'm one of many readers who are grateful to have read and own this book.

Good points/quick read
I've read so many books on dating and relationships and I was going to bypass this one until I read the sample on Kindle. I had to keep reading. This is my first Tony Gaskins Jr book. Being totally honest the point made about how we fall for someone who does not like us in the same way yet run away from someone who shows interest in us because we are searching for the man or woman of our imagination made me pause and think. I've bypassed some pretty amazing men with my eyes on Mr. Unavailable (the man whom I believe would make an awesome mate). I have an amazing six-figure salary career. I'm very attractive. I have a blog etc., the reason I'm still single is that I hoped that one day Mr. Unavailable will finally recognize me...that day has and never will happen. This book is about that...dealing head on with real issues! A must read!

I have enjoyed reading this book
I have enjoyed reading this book. It was originally given to me to read by a male co-worker. I enjoyed it to the point that I not only purchased my own copy, but copies for several friends. Although a lot of the points in the book seem practical to some, I feel the will serve as reminders to others and hopefully help the rest to realized that being single is not a curse. I recommend this book to anyone who struggles with their single status and anyone just getting out a relationship, before entering the next. I also recommend it to anyone in a relationship that they are afraid to let go of for fear of being single.

Great advice
This book was short and easy to read but caused me to really re-evaluate my perspective on my single life. After reading it I feel more content with being single and realize that I am very blessed in what I already have. It will make you see wether or not you are just being picky and superficial when choosing a man or woman to date. I would recommend this book to anyone who had a hard time with being single and to those who don't understand why they are single. This book will give you that perspective if you really let it.

I would highly recommend this book. It definitely enlightened me in many ways as I didn't know a whole lot about how to make relationships work before I came across the writings of Tony Gaskins. I would also recommend "Mrs right" & "The New Guy Code"

Wasn't a bad book. There were some valid points and I was able to look at things from a different angle. However, there were parts that I didn't agree with and that was because of particular phrasing that was used just didn't make any sense with what the author was trying to say.
