Theyre great mirrors but on my SV650 (2nd Generation), the left side hex bolt is too long at first, so that the seating ball doesnt stay still. Im able to fix it with some PVC+Electrical tape wrapped between the base and the washer of the mount and then filing the bolt a little shorter. Just an issue with the SV, other than that, these mirrors hold up great. I like being able to adjust them very precisely, theres plenty of room to see around you and behind you in the actual mirror. Vibration doesnt affect the mirror image much at all. Very durable and foldable, super functional. Good job Adventure Mirrors! Wish it was priced a little lower

Excellent product that lives up to the hype! Easy install. The friction adjustments are simple to adjust and put into place, but require both hands for the major adjustments. However, even when fully tightened down, it is possible to make minor tweaks while riding. It is such a quick process, thst if you arrive at a traffic light right as it turns red, you can make major adjustments, with plenty of time to spare, before the light turns green. I have a tight parking location for my bike in my garage, which requires me to fold one of my mirrors in every time I park my bike, and put it back in position every time I went riding. With my stock mirrors, this process was infuriating! With the Double Takes, it's so quick to both release them and put them back into place, I don't even think about it anymore. Don't wait, like I did. Once you have them, you'll wonder why manufacturers aren't installing them as stock.

Wish I could give more than 5 star review, the stock mirrors on the DR650 weren’t good, having to lean over to see around my shoulder, these are completely adjustable and no need to move to see in the mirror can just move your eyes. Excellent design and decent price. I am pleased with my purchase and hope they last a long time.

I cannot say enough good things about these mirrors. I replaced the mirrors on my Hawk 250 DLX with these, because I couldn't see anything with the stock mirrors, and they kept falling in the wind and vibration. I had originally seen these mirrors (previous version) while watching Itchy Boots. She had them on at least two of her bikes. So I said, why not and ordered these, the newer version. So strong. So sturdy. NO vibration or movement. Excellent field of view. Infinitely adjustable. My 250 has a pretty high pitch vibration throughout the frame, as to be expected and it doesn't effect these mirrors in the slightest. Very easy to adjust or move out of the way with a quick couple of turns of the lever, and you can tell you can tighten the bajeebus out of them and it won't break. The price is perfectly on point for the value of these mirrors. It took me 10 minutes to swap them out from the stock mirrors. Everything you need to mount them on 99% of bikes is included. These are going on my next, and likely all future ADV bikes.

These were a great upgrade to my Gen-3 Kawasaki KLR 650. The KLR is a single-cylinder "thumper" and as such can induce significant vibration to the mirrors via the handlebars. While the rubber mounting of the handlebars calms much of this the stock mirrors still become buzzy at speed and are difficult to use effectively. I don't know how the Doubletake mirrors do it, but have found that they further calm the buzziness and their large mirror surfaces allow me to see clearly what's happening behind me while rolling down the freeway. Further, these are easy to adjust and have been rock-solid performers off-road. They can even be folded down to the handlebar should you be riding through brush and trees where you want to avoid contact with branches. These are great mirrors and are definitely worth the investment.

These are the best ADV mirrors you can get. Worth the money. So easy to use and adjust and the warranty is amazing. I went down in the mud and scratched the glass on one, contacted customer service and new one was shipped within a couple hours. Highly recommend. I went with the six inch length, gives me a clear view behind me. The stock mirrors on my 25 Tenere were too short and I could barely see over my shoulder.

Love the size of the mirrors and they’re easy to install, but because the upright is straight, it prevents you from having the clearest vision to both sides. Solve this problem and you have the perfect mirror! Also, although the wingnut design allows you to easily loosen and tighten the mirror, it also makes it very easy to steal. I haven’t done it yet, but I plan on replacing the wing nuts with an odd size, harder to remove nut. The manufacturers need to think about solving that problem as well

From the pictures these look extremely similar to $40 alternatives. They. Are. Not. These are hefty heavy-freaking-duty. All metal. Pristine mirror. Expensive? Yes. Overpriced? Hell No! Perfect for a dirtbike.

Excellent product. The best. Buy the cheap copies at your own detriment. Love these and will never own an off road going bike without them.

Those mirrors are amazing. Much better than version 1. Very stable. Very sturdy and reliable. Good vision. Easy to attach to the bike. Not cheap but if you will take under consideration that they have lifetime guarantee they are worth every penny.

Simply the best

They work like a charm. Have already taken the R1250GS out a few times and dropped it on the dirt and the sand. The mirrors take the hit and fold without breaking. At highway speeds they work very well with little to no vibration at all.
