It's a good coat rack.
This coat rack is very functional and looks good. One critical review said it’s cheap pine wood. It is pine, as stated in the product description. For the reasonable cost of this coat rack, you are not going to get a good hard wood such as oak. A different reviewer said the pine split. Pine is a soft wood. If you over tighten the screws, it wouldn’t be too hard to cause a split. One reviewer complained that the holes for mounting the coat rack aren’t spaced to match stud spacing. There are standards for stud spacing, but those standards may from one locality to another. Installation takes some patience. Be smart: - Remove the hinge from one side to make it easier to put the hooks on. - To attach the hooks to the wood panel, insert one screw first and tighten it a little bit. From the back of the wood panel, shine a flashlight through the hole so you can see where the other screw hole in the metal hook base is. Don’t rush; it does take some patience to get the screws properly aligned. There seems to be no reason to leave the hinge on when mount the coat rack. It serves no function. I would have preferred more spacing between the hooks for bulky coats, but I suppose this depends on what you are hanging on the hooks.

Love it!
Super sturdy!! I use them in my garage to hang all of my workout bands/belts, looks farmhouse-ish. Super easy to hang and is strong against the wall when you use the anchors provided so it makes it safe!

Good Rack :)
I am mixed on how to give this review. Yes, it is two pieces of would that you open up, which I knew before I bought, and it was not an issue for me. What I liked is that you have the options to put as many or as few hooks that you want. That being said, the holes are there so if you choose not to put a hook, you see a hole. The hooks are a great size, and sturdy on the wall. I have heavy coats hanging without issue. But for me, it's perfect because I hung it inside a closet- I was able to put the hooks I want and no one sees it. I think how well this works for you will depend on your use and where you put it. I would recommend this, I find it to be a great value for the money and a solid purchase.

Perfect for anyone with limited space, and very nice looking!
Bought for my elderly parents with limited space! It's very nice, and they get many compliments on it. Perfect for them to have easy access to coats / hats and not take up any space. Worth the price! Constructed well, hooks are great, and easy to install!

Stury and wfficient
Very sturdy and easy to install. We hang all of the children’s bags and jackets. Plan to buy another for lower for the smaller kids.

Amazing Product!
We moved to a new house and there is zero storage for coats. We ordered this and were hopeful. It comes in a small box as it is hinged. The hangers are loose for you to simply screw on. This is an awesome idea as it comes with ten hangers and you may only need half. We used them all and it holds so many coats- you can get three coats on each hook the way it is designed. I 100% recommend this product!

It's two 16" boards with a hinge in the middle
I'm giving 3 stars because I am using the coat rack instead of sending it back. I'm crafty and my husband is handy, so we can make it work, but I'm honestly offended that I received a product that was so sloppily put together. You should know that it's not a 32" long board. It's two 16" boards kept together with a hinge in the middle. I'm assuming that this is for shipping purposes. It arrives folded and you're immediately thinking "that's not what I ordered". Anyway, the really frustrating part is how rough this was sent out. I'm including pics, but the cut edges of the boards (where they meet) are all jagged and nasty, much lighter than the dark stain of the rest of the board. Same for where some of the screw holes are. Ugly, rough - almost gouged looking. Speaking of screws, don't plan on using the included hardware. It's crap. Supply your own quality screws and anchors. Even better, if you're at all handy, save yourself the money. Skip buying this product. Stain a board, slap a $10 pack of hooks on it, mount it on your wall and call it a day. I wish I had done that in the first place.
