Surprisingly effective, but avoid coated surfaces
Bought this to clear prolific weeds and moss from a brick paved driveway, expecting it to disappoint on various fronts but pleasantly surprised all round. This comes with an extensible handle, and two attachments that screw interchangeably onto the end of it. There's a larger flat wire brush (which is presumably for cleaning flat surface areas) and a smaller 'Mohican' wire brush with a sturdy scraper spike on the back (that are perfectly designed to clear and clean along the cracks between bricks or pavers).Given my need to attend to the crevices of the brick driveway, I've only used the smaller attachment so far. First, the spike was used to scrape moss and the bulk of the weeds from the cracks between the bricks, which it did pretty well. Then, after sweeping the detritus away so that you can see what's left, the lateral brush was used to scrub the cracks completely clean of residual weeds and soil. This process worked perfectly for all but some sizable tufts of grass which (due to their deep and packed roots) needed to be slowly pulled out by hand (but which were often loosened a little by the scraping process).I'm quite tall, but the handle still extended to a very adequate length to avoid the need to stoop ... at least, in theory. In reality, you need to apply a fair amount of downward pressure while scraping, which requires that your other hand be used to press down on the handle shaft while your dominant hand performs the back and forth action (actually scraping only while pulling quickly towards you). However, you don't need to stoop much, and it's much easier than the bending over or crouching that would be required with a smaller hand-held tool. You can usually do the brushing one-handed, although using both hands (as above) gives you more control.I did initially find it frustrating that the attachment kept unscrewing while scraping, but quickly realised that if you tilt the head slightly to the left then the downward pressure actually tightens it (a right tilt will loosen it).All the parts are very lightweight, which makes it easy to wield for long periods without possessing Popeye arms. The wire in the attachments seems extremely sturdy, as does the spike, and should probably last a long time (update: after maybe a dozen hours of use, both spike and small brush are worn away to almost nothing and are unusable, but fortunately they do sell replacement small heads). The body of the attachments is that lightweight but 'brittle' kind of plastic, that I can imagine might shatter if it were to receive a hard knock, so that might be the only potential weak point (although probably unlikely to occur under normal use).It did a great job clearing all the greenery and soil from the cracks in my paved driveway. Very impressed! Now smart, rather than scruffy. One thing to watch out for, however ... the wire brushes and scraper are tough and will easily remove any surface coatings, and so should not be used on (for example) colour-stained concrete slabs. Great on brick, though.

Handy tool for patio weeds
Its the best tool so far I've used for getting in between the paving stone ,not needed to use scraper much ,the little brush does it ,the only annoying thing is the part you screw on the end keeps coming off ,and need to screw back on ,but for the price ideal

Nice Job! Cheap and effective.
I also have a Ryobi which does the same thing for less effort and a lot more money. This works well by peeling out the moss and earth collecting in between the bricks and stones on a patio. The handle itself is reasonably sturdy and extends to easily accommodate a tall man like me. It is strong, effective and convenient to use. There is also a wire brush which is much more useful than I expected. I disagree with some of the comments that the plastic snaps off or that the point wears down. Certainly this tool won’t last forever but it is pretty good and robust. I have seen just the head advertised somewhere which might be useful back up. Also, the head is attached to the pole using a standard screw thread so it is likely you have other poles already which are compatible.

Disappointing for a Carbon Steel Head
After little use on my brick driveway the carbon steel head started to wear quickly. I reported this to the seller who promptly sent me another head, by first class post. Sadly, the second head started to wear out quicker! I would also mention that once screwed on, the head has the habit of unscrewing, and then has to be tightened up which is very annoying.I have used similar heads over the past, but they were not carbon steel (which I thought would be tougher). However, they were - in my opinion- better (and cheaper). So, 5 stars for the seller, but few stars for the carbon steel head. I hasten to mention that the broom which is part of the set received, seems OK.

Great product
The extending paving patio brush arrived on time and was ready to use right away. The hard brush works well, and so far, it’s been very useful and sturdy. The only issue is that the handle for the digging part tends to get a bit loose, but it can easily be screwed back tight. Aside from that, I’m very happy with the product.

Great little tool
Love how easily this clears moss between slabs. Easier to use when weather is a bit drier, as it rakes bits out more easily I found. It does keep unscrewing near the base when in use, but is still very good. Will consider buying one for my mother. The brush attachment also helps remove moss from a damp path, but it does scratch the paving slabs. Don’t mind, as no-one really sees down the path and at least I won’t slip on it anymore.
