DEWENWILS Outdoor Wireless Light Switch and Receiver Kit, 15A Heavy Duty

I used this switch to replace an Intermatic RC613. It was easy to install. In my case the blue wire was not needed and I just used a twist on connecter to cap it off. The remote works flawlessly in my backyard at a distance of about 80 feet. The RF signal is stronger and more reliable than my Intermatic RC613. Although the advertising claims the receiver can be used outside, I am not convinced that it is totally weatherproof. I would plan accordingly. I ultimately connected three of these switches to different devices. Since I wanted all three switches to all work off of one remote, I was able to get a transmitter which can control three different switches from Denenwils. I was able to pair the three receivers to the new transmitter in a matter of minutes. It was a much easier process than when I paired the Intermatic RC613. If you plan on connecting the switch to a standard outdoor electrical box, you may need a threaded adapter (1/2 inch female to 3/4 inch male). The connector on the receiver is 1/2 inch. male, threaded.

Works perfect

Simple: route live & neutral from power source to receiver black & white wires, connect red (live) & blue (neutral) wires to device (outdoor light in my case), turn device on/off with remote. My FL house is cinder brick stucco single story. The remote was able transmit to the receiver from inside the house, furthest room from the device which was an outdoor light next to the garage side door.

Works like a champ. Need some electrical knowledge to install but looks a works great after installation.

I use this to control carport lights. I have remote hanging under mirror and I press button to turn on/off 6 LED ceiling lights. Works great even in -20f winter temperature. Base unit has button to manually on/off lights so I don't always need a remote. Weatherproof, waterproof and easy to install.

Purchased to use to turn outside shop lights on from my house. After install with remote fob in hand, I walked about 60 ft toward my house. Lights turned on and off. Continued toward house until I was on patio. Approx. 100 ft. Lights turned on and off. Was very pleased. This was what I wanted to achieve. Tried it again when inside in bedroom with a huge fireplace between remote and receiver. worked great. Now remote hangs on key hanger in house by door. i just press button with it hanging and lights are on. Way more than I expected.

This wireless switch works well and does the job that it is intended to do. It is very simple to hookup and wire yourself. This is something that you would maybe hide inside of a fixture and then use the included remote to turn it on and off. The one thing that I don't love about this is the remote style. It is like a key fob for yhour car. I would much rather see something that I could mount to the wall

I purchased this remote-controlled switch to be able to turn my workshop's exterior light on and off from the house. The shop light is 120 feet away and even through my back door, I have no trouble switching it on or off. This is a great little switch at a decent price point. It has me thinking about other exterior lights that I could control easily from a button instead of running multiple wires everywhere!
