Very nice
Turns any dumb cable into a smart one, I’ve got some nice usb-c cables that I can now gain more use out of

Does what I needed it to do!
This makes every usb c cable I own smart. With this I can tell if the cable is working properly, true power ratings/etc and what my device is pulling/charging rate etc. Seems well made and hasn’t let me down (I’ve owned it for some time now). No complaints.

USB-C Adapter with Thunderbolt 4 Speeds AND 240W: Accurate Power Reporting and Unmatched Durability
I recently tried the LED Display USB-C Adapter and was impressed by its support for Thunderbolt 4/USB 4.0 speeds. Unlike similar products, this one is particularly special! Instead of USB 2.0 500Mbps speeds, it handles data transfers up to 40Gbps meaning it can deliver a crisp 8K@60Hz output, making it perfect for high-resolution displays while showing power reportings. Build Quality & Connector Durability The USB-C connector is significantly more durable than other brands I've tested. It holds up well even after frequent use, showing no signs of wear, especially on the USB C male connector piece which is typically the first breaking point of any USB connector. This sturdiness is a major plus if you often connect and disconnect devices. LED Display Function The adapter features an LED display that cycles through Volts (V), Amps (A), and Wattage (W) every 5 seconds. While this offers useful insights, the cycling can be slightly distracting and overwhelming, and there's some LED bleed that makes it hard to read at certain angles. However, the readings are impressively accurate compared to similar adapters. Performance & Heat Management This adapter can apparently handle up to 240W of power. However, as of 2024 to my knowledge no charging device offered to the public as a standard is able to reach such a high rating. What I have tested is charging my Meta Quest 2. At higher amperage, it gets warm but never uncomfortably hot like others have stated. Interestingly, it stays cool even with higher voltage, indicating excellent heat management. Pros: - Supports Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4.0 speeds up to 40Gbps - High power capacity (240W) with decent heat management - Durable USB-C connector, more robust than many other brands (I haven't seen any reviews from others on this item being damaged either) - Accurate power reporting for volts, amps, and wattage - Reporting goes down to decimal values, 1/10 or 0.1, rather than whole numbers, 1, 2, 3, 4... Cons: - LED display cycles every 5 seconds while updating 5 ticks of the V / A / W values, which can be slightly distracting (it shows the voltage for 5 times in 5 seconds, next the amperage for 5 times in 5 seconds, then the amperage for 5 times in 5 seconds, then recycles again) - Minor LED light bleed between readings (makes it a bit difficult to read double digit values)

Fine under 100w, but gets unreasonably hot
So this device works as intended. When you plug in a cable, it will output the wattage, volts, and amps in that order. it automatically cycles through the information. I can safely say that it works for any device below 100w. However past 100w, I cannot say that I would trust this device. I currently do not have a device that can pull more than 100w, but of the two devices that pull 100w, my power bank and gaming laptop, I would trust neither. This device gets unreasonably hot during use with both of these devices. not only that, the power doesn't seem to get past 95w when the device is plugged in. When the cable is plugged in without the meter, it works fine and the cable just gets warm. But I would imagine that someone could eventually burn their hands on this device if they would be holding onto the cable for a ~5 minute duration. Excess heat in this capacity does not give me the confidence that it will support 240w of continuous draw. even 100w seems to be the realistic limit. Since a device that uses 180w or 240w over USB C doesn't exist at the time of this review. I would say that for right now, I would say the realistic limit of 100w to 140w is possible, but I would not be the first to test it.

Works well; small and seems well built
The power meter works well. Be aware that it cycles between Volts, Watts, and Amps; there is no way to select which value to display or the orientation. I only tested it up to 80 watts; it didn't get hot. But I didn't test up to the full 240 watt rating

Sunlight readable
I have tried 7 different brands of the inline power readouts. This is the only one that is readable in sunlight. Because they use proper lens tinting, it works in sunlight, and also isn't too bright indoors. Readable, but not great in direct sun, great readability in shade on sunny day. A pleasant white character instead of the eerie blue/green most others use. The gap between segments is a bit wider than I would like, but the segments are sharp, which aids readability. This does cycle through Amps, Volts and Watts, that could be a pro or con depending on what you are looking for

No convierte un cable normal en un usb-c 4 pero aun asi es funcional en los cables usb-c 4 es compatible y la informacion es clara

Seems to work well? Great if you're curious how much a specific device draws. Probably wouldn't rely on it for anything critical, but as a general information tool it's good.

Great product, great price, but buyers beware it doesn't work with proprietary fast charging protocols like samsung super fast charge / Huawei ultra fast charge, etc. EDIT: Turns out I was using the wrong port on my charging block and it does work with AFC/SFC proprietary fast charging protocols. Changed rating to 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The only downside to this unit is that I have to wear glasses to read the values. I would not have thought about buying this device, but a relative was unable to clone an nvme device, and asked for my advice. I suggested he try USB A to USB c, and it worked (took 2 hours), so his USB c to USB c was not capable. So far I haven't been able to get proper testing done, but this is a must-have!

Cute little dongle. I used it with many different devices and cases. It's small, very small. And yes there is only one in the bag. I think the size is one of it's best feature. Some cable (like a dock) will not fit on a case like the combo touch, this little thing will fit to plug in. I used it with all my charger combinations, computer, docks, etc. It's always giving me a reading.
