Vision DS1 Drink System, Black

Sorry. I had to write a quick review in the hopes that no one else will make the decision I did and buy this product. Not going to lie, I should have ridden with it more before I used it for Ironman Chattanooga, but Amazon screwed up the 2 day shipping so I only got to ride with it 1 time before the race.I bought this hydration system because it had a splash guard and I was tired of getting sticky with my previous hydration system. Let me just tell you that was the least of my worries. The morning of the race I fill it up and it starts dripping. I couldn't tell it was the top of the bottle that leaking or what. Once I got onto my bike I tried to drink out of the straw and that was a complete fail. It was like drinking from a pinched straw....horrible. The reason I bought the bottle was because of the splash guard. I now know why it's a good splash guard, because it takes everything you got to get any kind of liquids into the opening. I could get maybe 10 ounces in before it just started spilling out. On top of it all, the bottle almost came out of my cage as I was going about 35mph down a hill. I was able to grab it at the last second. It finally did come out of the cage around mile 95 of the Ironman when I was doing about 25mph. Overall I do not recommend this thing. It's bad. I would send it back, but about I tossed it into a trashcan about mile 100 of the Ironman.
