Used these brackets to reattach a shelf to a wall. I was impressed with the thickness of the metal. Extremely sturdy. That shelf won't be going anywhere soon, believe me!

I got these to create shelves in my greenhouse. The house has rails in the wall seams where bolts slide in. Their own brand is over $80 per shelf!! I made 2 shelves instead and just used the bolts in the brackets to hold into the rails. Worked perfectly! Saved lots of money. Plants are happy. I have more space!

So my neighbors fence was loose and during the hurricane it kept rattling. I put this between the loose boards and it looks great and is nice and sturdy. Couldn’t have planned it better! I also appreciated the length of the long screws bc they definitely helped make the fence seem stable. They secured it so the boards didn’t rattle.

We needed these for an outdoor project and the we the exact brackets that we needed. Great quality and looked good where we used them. No running around to look for something in our local stores when I could order from home exactly what we needed.

Bought the 6"x4" to install a railing. Excellent product, slightly less that a right angle (maybe 3 degrees). Thickness is about 5/32" - just shy of 1/4". Solid bracket and good value.

Metal Brackets)These are solid brackets. The description states they can hold up to 100 lbs each. I may not go so far as to call these heavy duty. They are strong, no doubt. But, when comparing this to a truly heavy duty bracket with welded cutting reinforcements, the differences in appearance and strength are apparent. Definitely don’t use these to reinforce a kitchen island countertop. But, these are more than adequate for wall shelving.Having said that, I do like the design of this bracket. Both holes allow the screws to mount directly to a stud without any additional fasteners required. There are other brackets that offer heavier bearing loads. But, with those, the side that gets mounted to the wall is normally wider (4+ inches with 4 screw holes, 2 on each side). So, 2 screws go into the stud with the other 2 needing heavy duty anchors. It’s a bit of a tradeoff. If you need to carry a heavier weight, the wider brackets are better. But, if your shelf (or whatever you’re hanging) is less than 100 lbs, these are perfect.I used these to reinforce a custom desk. I placed two Husky tool boxes 4 feet apart as a base. And, then put a 6 foot butcher block on top of those. The tool boxes held the butcher block just fine but, I added 2 of these (mounting them to studs in the wall) to distribute some of the weight toward the back of the desk. It’s completely solid. Very happy with these. And, an easy recommendation for consideration.

If there is an earthquake and this 100 year old house crumbles,these brackets will still be standing with their shelves. Heavy and the holes are drilled beautifully so no mistakes when securing the screws. Much nicer than expected.
