Vitrex SPR500 Spiked Roller 500mm

Not much more to sat. This did the job very well and was easy to use. I had never done self levelling before and this made it so easy. The one side is the spiked roller but i also used the splash shied to help distribute.I would 100% recommend but as always say my review is based on my experience and also on value for money.I would say they ought add an option to buy an adjustable handle however but i already bought one elsewhere

Quality, Ease cleaning, Ease use

Ordered the roller after seeing it in on line tutorialNeeded a large floor screeded, but due to huge health issues, I was unable to do it myselfSeeing the ease in which the tutorial completed their project, purchased this for my daughter, who was able to complete the task on my behalfMake sure you use correct screed and follow the manufacturers instructions

Brilliant spiked roller and good value for money.... for anyone thinking of using self levelling compound then a spiked roller is a must for ensuring no air bubbles and I highly recommend this one.

Difficult to clean

worked well, all i had to do was screw the handle on. i didnt want to be bending down to i yoinked a broom handle for the project and stuck it in there and popped a screw in.used on concrete self leveling compound. it started to struggle in the deeper areas as i went to about 30mm in some spots.for thinner leveling compounds i imagine it would work even better.

Really useful tool to rollout the bubbles (so mixing the screed slowly is less critical) and smoothing the final surface just before it goes off. The roller picks up very little screed and can be rinsed off before it has fully set. Don ‘t level a floor without one!
