On the whole, I think this is quite a nice little set of eight jigsaw puzzles for younger children. Quite what the target range should be, I’m not sure – but I would suggest that it certainly isn’t as low as the 3 months suggested by the manufacturer (under ‘See more product details’). From two or three years is perhaps a better starting point. Of the eight distinct jigsaws, one comprises 4 pieces, three comprise 5 pieces, and four comprise 6 pieces. The puzzles are made of wood, which is good, and the shapes and colours are quite pleasing. Individual parts of the puzzles are – in some cases – quite small, and may perhaps be a little tricky for small hands to grasp and manoeuvre (I shall check this out when my youngest grandchildren visit, and amend this review if necessary).All eight puzzles fit easily into a fairly flat, sturdy, plastic frame – which makes the jigsaws easily transportable. An illustrated leaflet shows how each jigsaw can be put together, which is helpful. So … as I stated above … quite a nice little set.

A good selection of wooden puzzles in nice bright colours. Some of the pieces are small so best for 3+ years but they are enough of a challenge that they will keep a youngster amused for a while - especially if you mix up the pieces from several puzzles so they have to search a bit harder! So you can scale the difficulty of pattern matching which is nice. Only weak spot I suspect is the hinges on the plastic case for them and I am hoping they are stronger than they look. If not a small box will work well for all the pieces as each puzzle is not that big - so a great travel amusement for holidays.
