This camera took some technical know-how to install and get to work. Took serveral trips to AT&T to get connected to network and then realized that the issue was that when I turned it off to go home, it lost signal and would not reconnect. So I went down the road about a mile and sat under the tower until it connected. Then drove home with it connected and it works greate. SERIOUS issue with battery life. We reduced the alerts to vehicles only, and ensured the solar panel was pointing directly at the sun. It lasts 15-20 days depending on the number of alerts. We then have to take it down and charge it with a USB cable in the house. Since my mother is 87, I have to go take it down and I live in another state and am an amputee. Not ideal.

It was OK to set up. Not easy but not the worst. Bought a sim card and data plan as needed to run this. Worked great for several weeks. Then the solar panel just stopped working so now I have to climb a ladder to take this down and charge the camera every few days. Battery lasts about 3 days. Also, it seems to randomly choose what to record. When it does record you have to be super close to it. At times, I've stood in front of the camera and it didn't recognize me there. I thought it was amazing for the first month. Now I am regretting throwing away $200 plus the cost of my data plans. Huge waste of money. I'm so glad that I didn't purchase a second one like I almost did. ********* Update: They contacted me with my review asking if I wanted a full refund. They did not list any strings attached but when I accepted they wanted me to provide info from the unit and pics to troubleshoot. I said no (I don't have time to be climbing up and down a ladder messing with the camera). Now they want me to pay shipping and return it somewhere that appears outside of Amazon before they provide this supposed refund. And who knows if I'll even get it after that. If they could get the camera to work properly it would be great but that is not what they originally contacted me about and offered. I don't have time to be going back and forth with them all day. The product shouldn't have stopped working properly so soon after buying. Now I'm skeptical on the company as a whole after they offered one thing, then changed it, then added limitations to the first offer.

What a great solution. I needed eyes on the construction process f my house in a rural area where I didn’t have power or internet access yet. This camera meet the need and works great. Setup was easy, and is a great value at the price. With the solar option, I don’t have to worry about replacing batteries which is great and provides great battery life.

I purchased this to monitor a new house build and it does a great job in picking up movement facing the house with the sun to its back. We had a theft, but I could not see the truck license plate it was blurry. The faces are slightly blurry also. Not sure why as if you take a picture things are much better quality. I moved the camera to mount on the house to get a better shot of license plates when they pull in. The camera still sucks at plates with focus. The camera get sun in the morning and keep's tripping off false alarms now that it's in a new location. Seem like they need better software or at least step up the camera quality as without a face or plate the cops do not give two chits about the crime.

Working remote so I can keep an eye on our remote property in Arkansas. Also using it to do a time lapse video of our construction.

At first I loved this product, it worked great for the first few weeks. Then when it ran out of data I purchased a cloud plan but the camera would not bind therefore the camera was not working at all. This company had the worst customer service I have ever seen. Their support line was ‘too busy. Try again later’ for multiple occasions. Their email support would be a few lines addressing part of the problem every few days, meanwhile my payment to the company for cloud service had been paid but I had no access to my camera and it was not working at all. Complete waste of money and one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had with a tech company.

We purchased the bundle, which included the camera, SD card, and SIM card. The cameras are just okay. We have the sensitivity set as high as possible, but unless movement happens directly in front of the camera, a lot of detail is missed. The SD cards can be a bit of a pain because they have to be formatted. Most times, the formatting is easy, but we did have a few we struggled with. The SIM cards - do NOT buy the bundle with SIM cards. The SIM cards are made by Telenor. Telenor won't help with the set up because Amazon sold them. Trying to get Amazon's help was almost impossible because they were saying SIM cards were not sold in the bundle. Even the description on Amazon says they were included. After we jumped through those hoops, we were then told we had to create a Reolink Cloud account - this is completely separate from the Reolink acct/app. Compared to the SIM cards we purchased from EIOTCLUB, the Telenor cards were a pain. EIOTCLUB was simple and took 30 seconds to register and set up - and they are way cheaper.

UPDATE 2: Reolink has completely refunded my purchase even though the return time frame has passed. I updated my review from 3 to 5 stars because they really did go above and beyond my expectations. Sandy is exceptional in customer service. I wish the cameras would’ve worked out for us. UPDATE: Reolink gave me a $30 credit for my troubles… AFTER sending me an email that they would refund my money if I sent the cameras back. I agreed to the $30, since we already gave the cameras installed on our house. I really wish I would have agreed to sending them back and getting my money back. I feel like I blew $400 for something that isn’t working out the way I was led to believe (Thanks Doc…) FYI Verizon and AT&T do not sell SIM cards for this brand of camera. I bought 2 SIM cards from T-MOBILE and not having any luck with that either. Colossal waste of money. Hoping the offer of getting a full refund for returning them still stands. Camera has great video and picture quality. There is about a 10 second delay from activity in your yard versus receiving the notification on your app/phone. Customer service was good-ish. The front line reps can’t help with issues, they just direct you to warranty. Customer service once you got out of the front line, was excellent and got my problem resolved. “Sandy” was excellent. You can use the SIM card they provide, however, if you have multiple cameras, be advised that EACH camera must have their own data plan. You cannot add multiple cards to their data plan.

This camara is exelent. 4k work real good, the only issue is have was that company sale very expensive rhe package of sink card. I did get my local company plan. Unlimited data for 35 canadian dollars. The rest is good.

Purchased this camera expecting reliable security coverage but it stopped working and became completely unusable! For the price, I expected far better quality and support. Amazon refused to help and there is no readily available phone number for product support, leaving me with an expensive product that no longer works and no practical way to get assistance. Very disappointing experience: Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere!!

The after-sales service is very good, I congratulate you. They solved an inconvenience with my camera. Highly recommended.
