This gives me piece of mind seeing behind me.
This camera has done a great job for us. My travel trailer is very wide compared to my little truck. There is a lot of piece of mind with the camera showing me the traffic behind me. I easily use it for backing up but I have it aimed high for driving instead of parking. I use a bulletpoint mount in my Jeep so it sits about the same place as a rearview mirror. As others have commented, this unit does not play well with polarized sunglasses. It works great for me. It easily mounted to my travel trailer with the pre-prep for furrow cameras.

Great camera
Great camera for a 28 foot trailer. I added the antenna extender and no lagging at all.

Great clear picture
Very clear picture. I use it mainly as a rear view camera when pulling my travel trailer. I attach the monitor to the rear view mirror with a couple of rubber bands, with a piece of foam in between. Polarized Sunglasses make the monitor unusable.

Polarized screen doesn't work with Sunglasses
There are lots of features to like about this backup monitor, but one huge problem leaves me incredibly frustrated and annoyed. They made the monitor polarized, which makes it impossible to use when wearing polarized sunglasses. Of course, almost all sunglasses are polarized. The end result is that the monitor looks black, even though it's on. So you're left with a choice: either use the monitor without wearing sunglasses, or use your sunglasses so you can see the outside world much better, but don't use the monitor. Of course, if your sunglasses happen to be prescription glasses that darken automatically in bright light, you are completely out of luck.

priced right .. works great
This has been working great for us. We bought the side view cameras as well. I'm not so sold on them -- not that they they dont work -- they work great, but over several months, I really only needed them once. We pulled in to unknown campground at night and I found them helpful to navigate in the dark. I notice some jitter when using the qmode view showing the 3 cameras at once but still very usable.

Great Camera System-But
If u own a 2024 Ford product this camera interferes with the tire pressure monitoring system. The dealer found the problem and un plugging it fixed my problem. TPMS works on 2.4 gigs, so does this system. I called tech support and they sent me another monitor and problem was solved. Their tech support is fantastic. If u have a problem they will go to all ends to satisfy your needs.

Nice camera, great picture.
This camera was easy to mount on my "furrion" ready mount. In not time, it was up and running. Used it this past week for the first time. The picture was great and it never lost a signal. My trailer is 42 feet long! I would buy it again.

Underwhelming but effective
Underwhelming. We’ll start by saying this camera system may work great for you, but I’ve been disappointed every step of the journey. I would have returned it, but passed my window. I bought this to replace an older budget basic camera…and wish I could go back. I researched pretty heavily before buying, and there’s definitely opportunity for any maker that can think outside the current box. Good things: Instructions were decent, camera pairing was swift and effective. Signal transmits from our camp trailer to the tow vehicle without issues. I like that I can expand to multiple cameras down the road if wanted. Screen size is a reasonable –5.5 inches: I can’t imagine how people drive with a 7 or 9 inch screen blocking their windshield. Issues: 1) The monitor is not polarized-compatible. If you wear sunglasses while driving, you’ll likely find the monitor useless (see photos). I can my phone screen fine thru the same glasses, but this monitor’s frequency is blocked by polarization. 2) Camera mounting options are limited. TONS of options for the monitor – the box came with 2 monitor holders for the single monitor and many more options available on their site. Only one option for the camera though, their included mount/furrion system on the exterior of your rig. We have a fiberglass shell and don’t want holes, plus we don’t want the camera exposed to vandalism. We mounted our old camera in an interior window and it worked great for backing and driving. I’ve had to do serious creativity to mangle other hardware to make a bracket that would work for this camera on the interior. Would have been nice if ANY of the multiple monitor holders could be adapted to hold the camera. Haloview – if you’re reading, here are a few opportunities: 1) I suggest 4-screw adapter to fit the existing camera body holes, the center of adapter could then accept the same T-slot as the monitor. 2) Adapt the system to allow me to use the camera as a backup on my truck while hitching, then move it to the trailer rear afterwards, and then move it again to wherever I want at my campsite as a security cam. The magnet mount won’t suffice – not theft resistant, relies on battery, and I’ll never trust just a magnet for $$ camera on a bumpy highway @ 60 mph. Camera should allow modular switch between power sources…USB-C would be great. 3) Revise the monitor – touch screen is worthless if I can’t see while driving. Add an option for shade shroud so the sun won’t bake the screen while parked. Again, for a basic "modern rv" setup, this may be a great system for you. I'll be on the lookout for a different system that allows me to drive with sunglasses.
