This never stayed in water. It keeps popping out as we troll even on lower speed or higher. Not recommended to buy. They are just good at marketing.

First off, DTX minnows are my go-to hard bait for wahoo, and I have caught many on140s (mostly Black Pink Mackerel), and several on larger sizes. So when the 120s came out I bought two, since smaller baits often are the ticket to hookups. Unfortunately, for me at least, the 120s always pop out of the water when I troll over 5 knots, regardless of how far back I set them. And when I do slow down to keep them in, I can see that they aren't running very deep by the angle of the line. The 140s work very well, run quite deep, and stay in the water, even at 8 or 9 knots. So, in cases where I do want to put something smaller than a 140 out there, it will be something like an xRap.

As the owner of a window tint business and an offshore addict on my boat Hookin’ Up, I bought the Nomad DTX Minnow specifically to target bluefin tuna. While I didn’t get a hit on the first trip, the performance blew me away. It tracks perfectly at 75+ feet, has an aggressive, lifelike action, and is built like it’s meant to fight submarines—seriously, this thing could handle a 600 lb tuna. But what makes it a standout is its versatility. It’s a killer on bluefin, but it’ll also slay wahoo, marlin, mahi—you name it. Clip it on, drop it back, and go. It’s an essential in my offshore spread
