TriGlow Red LED A19 Light Bulbs, 9 Watt (60 Watt Equivalent) Red Light Bulb, 2-Pack

Put one bulb at my front door , the other on my back porch . Glad to have LED bug lights. Thy do not attract bugs and produce a great deal of protective light !

These are great! I couldn’t believe how good they looked in the package. I wasn’t expecting them to look high quality. We haven’t had bugs flying around the light in the garage since we started using these.

TriGlow's "red orange" glow is absolutely unlike the OriGlam and the LE Dimmable "red." If you want "crimson red" light, then go elsewhere; OriGlam and LE Dimmable are available on Amazon. Then again, TriGlow's hue is workable when highlighted by other (deeper) red lights, especially since it is twice the combined brightness of OriGlam and LE Dimmable "red." Be creative. The package does not say where these lights were created, but the "glass shells/bulbs" are made of plastic, not breakable glass. Be aware, however, that the "high heat conduction light body" (see "LED light bulb anatomy") does get hot, NOT enough to burn one's hand but enough to keep in mind while you have it on for hours, just in case. So, if you smell something not quite right, then... LE Dimmable "red" is not very bright, FYI, but the remote control is very handy. The TriGlow box does not include remote control. Oh well.

I LOVE THEM. COME ON AT DUSK OFF AND SUNRISE. BEAUTIFUL GLOW ON MY HOUSE AND YARD. BRIGHTENS UP THE YARD. I GOT 4 AND LIKED THEM SO MUCH I GOT 2 MORE. FOR A BACK OUTSIDE DOOR I NEVER USE. I LOVE THE COLOR GLOW TOO.

The wife wanted to put some bug lights in the front and back porch fixtures. But we also needed them to be bright. Every where in town only had 40 watt bulbs so I went to old reliable Amazon and found these. They are good and bright and use less power then the standard bulb . Not sure if anything keeps bugs away though.

Bought another LED yellow bug bulb from Amazon 2 years ago. That bulb was 40 watts not 60 as the currently purchased bulb. I find that it does not shoo away bugs like the weaker bulb, also it is not as cheerfully bright at 60 watts vs the 40.

Works quite well as far as illumination. Still a bit cool outside for bugs. I suspect these bulbs will be just as effective as any other bug bulb, but without the high wattage output. Will order more for another porch light and a spare.

The lightbulbs do not light up like they should. They are so dull that its absolutely worthless. They are 60 watt equivalent which I have had the same watts in these type of bulbs before and they worked well. I have it over a door and it's so dark walking out we need to bring a flashlight. They will not take them back so I would advise not even buying them.
