This small emergency radio is just what you need for emergencies. It is solar powered so if you keep it near a window it will stay charged. It has a flashlight as well as a radio plus a Noah weather station so you can hear the weather forecast whenever you need to. It’s small so you can store easily and keep handy. The radio has an antenna which I had to use to pick up music stations. Also comes with a usb cord so you can charge that way too. If you are without power it has a hand crank that will charge the radio in 5 minutes. Overall it’s a good quality and cute little gadget to have. You could fit this in your back pocket.

the power go out two days ago and fortunately my emergency weather radio was arrive last week. the hand crank radio also can be able to use during hurricane, snow storm event. and it was very useful to charge phones and listen to the radio for some emergency alerts.Everything on this unit works great - the solar panel charges it up , as does the hand crank. There is also a flashlight which is VERY VERY bright and very handy for finding your way around when there is no power.The old style Volume/Power On roller on the side which was SUPRISED at first and it let me traveled back to the 80s and remember my old cassette radio.Overall, you will be grateful that you have it when the power is out or you are in a situation where you cannot access electricity. Keep one of these pocket radios in your garage for a little peace of mind in a storm, or get one for a camping trip...

I worked for emergency purposes. I will add it to my Go Kit and have if available when needed. I like the size because it is not to large of small. The color yellow is bright enough I can see it without problem. I don't the know how long the crank or handle will last in actual use. The light is low power but, it works in a pinch.

An important item during hurricane season. This is a good value and works well. Great size and sound quality is good for its size

I might have charged it once since I bought it but otherwise in that I always leave it in the car and the kids love hand cranking it it's a fun tool and the fact that it can also charge via solar panel is awesome

I like how it is small enough to put in my emergency bag. It works well. The only thing I wish the the know on the handle was a bit stronger. Other then that great product

Solar charging works great .Attempting to charge with USB included is a bit difficult the C type USB is small and hard to use. Crank works good so far not sure how it works in a pinch. This is not a short wave radio and only gets locally transmitted radio signal. Compares well price wise. Penny wise may prove this can be pound foolish however.
